Nice small establishment near Corte

While it’s some distance from Corte, they offered excellent value for money. Nicely decorated rooms and surroundings, super friendly service. Rooms are quiet and recently renovated. Breakfast was generally high quality ingredients “continental style”, ie. selection wasn’t wide. I would have preferred more veggies. On the down side the parking may get a bit crowded, and as usually in France / Corsica the pillows seems to be way too large for my preference.

Excellent mountain view, breakfast, and staff. My only complaint was the lack of sidewalk from the hotel to the city centre. This is not the hotel’s fault. We took a car from the hotel, as we did not feel safe walking on the road, especially at night. There is not much of a shoulder, and the drivers tended to drive quite fast!

This was my favourite hotel of my stay! Staff are very friendly and attentive! The style of the house and the rooms is lovely, with attention paid to details. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the view of the hills/ mountains very relaxing. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection. The hotel is easily accessible by car with parking spots right in front or a few steps from the house. While the town is small and quiet, there is much to explore in the area. I wish I could have stayed longer and hope to come back soon! The road outside gets busy, so it can be noisy on the terrace.

A nice hotel with very stylishly furnished rooms, and the view was absolutely marvellous. However, there were two minus points - the hotel has the loudest water pipe system I have ever heard, despite earplugs I was woken up by it. Much more unpleasant was the burnt smell in the room and especially the bathroom, when I asked I was told that it came from a former fireplace. This is a great pity because it is otherwise a great hotel.

Hiking trip

Toen we arriveerden was alles op slot en was er helemaal niemand. We belden het telefoonnummer en iemand gaf aan er binnen 10 minuten te zijn. Dat werden er 20 maar hij kwam eraan. De buitenkant van het hotel viel ons tegen. De binnenkant was echter deels gerenoveerd. Onze kamer was op wat spinnenwebben na schoon en we hadden een apart toilet en een ruime mooie badkamer. Overal in het hotel staan antieke meubelen en oude boeken waardoor het muf ruikt. Gelukkig was dit niet het geval in onze kamer. We hadden geen balkon of terras en geen minibar. De kamers op de laagste verdieping aan de achterkant hadden wel een terras. Erg jammer dat er geen zwembad is. Op 400 meter afstand ligt echter het gemeentelijk zwembad. Spotgoedkoop (3 € pp en 2 € pp voor een bedje en een parasol) en prima om af te koelen met de hoge temperaturen die we hadden. De ontbijtprijzen waren hoger dan eerder vermeld. Geen 10 euro maar 12.50. Het smaakte prima. Er loopt een spoorlijn voor het hotel en een erg drukke weg maar we hebben daar totaal geen hinder van gehad.
