Your holidays in a beautiful property

  • I invite you to discover my property, located in Varaville in Normandy, on the coast of the Channel. It is a house of 157 m2 in the middle of a closed and raised park of more than 7000 m2, in the middle of the country of Auge. Neighbor of the Varaville stud farm, it is surrounded by the swamps of the Dives, a region rich in flora and fauna. The beach is five minutes by car. Deauville and Caen are twenty minutes away.

    Many leisure activities and activities are offered in the immediate vicinity: hiking and discovery outings, golf, fishing lakes, equestrian center, beach clubs, water sports or tennis ... Many museums are waiting for your visit and the D-Day beaches are a short drive away.

    The house includes a basement with a garage, a storeroom and a summer kitchen. On the ground floor you will find a large living-dining room and a Moroccan style living room. The kitchen is independent and equipped open on a bright veranda. A bathroom with shower and toilet completes this space. Upstairs, the four bedrooms await you with five double beds, two single beds and a cot, not to mention the bathroom. The maximum capacity is twelve people.

    Outside, you will enjoy a beautiful private pool, without any opposite.

    It is a stay of quality in a haven of peace to which I invite you.

Nice house

We have rent this house last year for our holiday. The house is big and clean, there is alot of space and a very nice pool. We felt safe and the owner is a nice man that communicates fast. It was a great experience.

Het was ok, vriendelijk onthaal, vlotte communicatie. Het huis was op eerste zicht proper bij de rondleiding , maar nadien merkte. We toch op dat het niet zo proper was als bij eerste indruk. De kwaliteit van het meubilair ( stoelen, zetel,bedden, keuken) waren niet van de kwaliteit dat we voor deze prijs verwachten.

En correspondance avec le tarif

Nous étions un groupe de 11 personnes adultes à nous retrouver pour profiter du beau soleil du jour le plus long de l'année ! Nous nous étions fixés 100 maximum par personne (au départ nous étions 8 certains de venir) et cette location correspond bien à ce tarif. C'est à dire que les prestations ne sont pas avec un effet waouh mais il y a un grand jardin avec une piscine et une assez grande maison pour un groupe.La proximité de la route est un avantage car on peut faire du bruit sans craindre de déranger mais dans les moments plus calmes le passage des voitures peut être gênant quand on est dehors sur la terrasse. Dans les chambres les fenêtres double vitrage protègent bien du bruit.Le barbecue était assez grand pour nos envies de viande grillée et de légumes dorés et nous avons trouvé le nécessaire pour se faire à manger sans problème.C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas des jeux comme une table de ping-pong, un baby foot, un billard, des fléchettes ou des boules de pétanque, ce serait un plus appréciable (en plus il y a de la place pour ça dans le sous sol).L'emplacement près de Cabourg nous a permis d'aller facilement à la plage, de chercher du pain à pied à la boulangerie sur le rond point juste à côté de la maison et faire des courses au Lidl de Dives sur mer pas très loin non plus de la maison en voiture.Un bon week-end entre amis pour que le prix qu'on a mis !

Bien mais ca aurait pu être mieux.

Belle propriété avec grand jardin. Dommage que celle-ci se trouve près d un carrefour très fréquenté, la nuissance sonore et visuelle était quand même importante... Le jardin est spacieux et agréable. La piscine n est pas visible depuis la maison, nous n étions pas tranquil de laisser jouer notre grand sans surveillance (pas d alarme sur la piscine) La maison est chouette, agréable espace (mais nous n etions pas 12!), cuisine un peu étroite et chouette veranda. La maison était propre "en surface". Le nettoyage en profondeur devrait avoir lieu plus souvent (peut-être celui-ci était prévu après notre départ ?!?) Bcp de poussières au dessus du frigo, de la hotte, le carrelage qui colle au dessus de la cuisinière, bcp de toiles d araignée .... Nous voyagons avec notre bébé comme indiqué lors de la réservation mais a notre arrive la chaise haute n était pas là. Les propriétaires ont ete tres reactif et sont venus l apporter le lendemain matin mais en l'état meme pas rafraîchie...dommage... La climatisation annoncée sur l annonce est juste un VMI. C etait important pour nous de pouvoir avoir une maison fraîche pour notre bebe qui a vite chaud. Bref nous avons passé un bon séjour mais il aurait pu être encore bien mieux moyennant quelques ajustements.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison 4 nuits avec nos amis. Nous avons été déçu par la propreté de la maison. Le ménage n’est clairement pas fait régulièrement. Nous avons du relaver à la main toute la vaisselle en voyant des résidus de nourriture. À l’arrivée nous avions à disposition 2 rouleaux de papier toilettes avec uniquement quelques feuilles restantes sur chaque, 2 tablettes pour le lave vaisselle et un fond de produits pour se laver les mains dans chaque Sdb, pas de sel, ni de poivre … le minimum devrait être fourni pour débuter le séjour. Le linge de lit et les serviettes de bain sont passés et mériteraient d’être renouvelés. je me demande si les housses de couette sont lavées entre chaque location. Les salles de bain sont vieillottes et auraient besoin d’un rafraîchissement, le papier peint se décolle ainsi que dans certaines chambres. Nous étions responsables du ménage mais les ustensiles à disposition étaient sales pour bien nettoyer (balais et serpillière). L’aspirateur central a besoin d’un grand nettoyage des embouts. Cette maison est grande et sur un grand terrain mais pour résumer elle n’est pas entretenue comme il se doit. Sa localisation est proche de cabourg et des plages mais trop prêt d’une route et d’un carrefour qui peut parfois être bruyant.

Parfait pour un groupe d'amis

Nous avions trouvé ce gite afin de nous réunir entre amis, afin de préparer un championnat de France de peche qui se déroulait à Caen. Gite situé idéalement, en automne on ne profite pas de la piscine, mais bien aménagé avec gout, et nous permettre de nous faire des barbecue, et être ensemble dans un endroit calme et réposant.
