"The stay was amazing. Our accomodation was just above the ocean with the awesome view on the other island. Josephine and Klass are great hosts and they went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. Make sure to contact them before your stay there so they can organize your transport. Pick up is from the starfish restaurant which is also a great place to have a drink or two and try some kava 😊 the plantation has a local cat Oreo who is very cuddly. "Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

"This is a great place to stay with a family. It is quiet, safe, and friendly. We loved the pool overlooking the sea and snorkelling/spotting sea creatures in the reef in front of the hotel. We paid a bit extra for a beach view but I think all the rooms would have a nice view as it’s quite small. The provided breakfast at Cafe Vila is excellent. It is close to the Port Vila and a very short and easy bus journey to get there. Pick up for activities is super easy. I highly recommend booking a massage (or two!) at the seafront spot where staff from Volcanic Earth spa can be booked onsite. The view is to die for and easily the best massage I’ve ever had. I’d also recommend packing reef shoes and snorkelling gear if you have them. One thing to be aware of is there is no long ‘sandy’ beach for walking on. I think this is similar to most places in Vanuatu where there is lots of reef, but coming from NZ where I’m used to beach walking it was something I hadn’t planned for/thought of."
