Beautiful rental with amazing views on Donnell Lake’s North Shore,

Welcome to our beautiful lake house on the North side of Donnell Lake! Offering expansive views and plenty of room to spread out, take a breath and relax for your next family vacation or gathering with friends. Our home has a massive wrap around deck with plenty of seating for taking in the views or dining. There is a patio area down at the water with seating, lounge furniture and fire pit. It offers a pier and large swim pad with perfect swim conditions, shallow gradual depth and a sandy bottom. Some swim floats provided and there is plenty of room in the yard for games such as cornhole.

The house has a kitchen that is fully equipped along with a grill for all of your cooking needs. Linens, bath and beach towels are also provided. A stackable washer and dryer is located on the main floor. There are two bedrooms(queen bed) and two full baths (1 up and 1 down) . The spacious loft has 1full bed and 2 twin over full bunks. There is also a game/play/reading area with patio door leading out to a second story deck.

Our location is convenient to: Notre Dame (28 miles); Swiss Valley Ski Resort(5 miles); Dr Lawless Park(hiking and biking 2 miles); farm markets (less than 5 miles). Also close to SEVERAL great local restaurants!!

GENERAL: FREE WiFi, 50” smart TV (main living), fireplace, AC/heating, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, portable fire pit, large wrap around deck (partially covered).

ACCESS and PARKING: 3steps into roadside entrance of house; 2 small steps to enter roadside deck entrance w/ patio slider. 8 steps down to exit deck on lakeside. 4+ parking spots in drive.

Perfect week

My family stayed for a week. The house met all our needs. The view of the lake was beautiful! We were able to bring our furry members of the family which was so nice. Peaceful and relaxing. Nice swimming area and great lake for fishing.

Lots of room for everyone indoors and out, the max we had at any one time was 12.Owners very responsive with small issues we had.It wasn’t quite as clean as Iexpected,a few dead bugs here and there and some dust webs.Our biggest issue was stepping dog doo emptying our car upon arrival and watching the owners dog go in our yard and not clean it up.It certainly didn’t ruin our stay just want others to he aware.

Great Owner - Lovely House

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was fantastic—perfect for a relaxing getaway with easy access to the lake. The owner was exceptional, with top-notch communication and a swift response to any concerns we had, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The lake itself was warm and perfect for kids, with plenty of opportunities for swimming and enjoying the paddle boat. We also spent a day at Diamond Lake, which added an extra layer of fun to our trip.A small note for future guests: the house provides only starter supplies of essentials like trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels, so be sure to bring extra if you're staying for more than a couple of days. Overall, a fantastic stay with only minor considerations that didn't detract from our experience. Highly recommend!

Spur of the moment family trip

Great stay on Lake Donnell. Owner lives next door to property and was very quick to help. There was a problem w air conditioning and he quickly fixed it. House was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the lake and paddle boat. Was surprised a little that there was a hill to get to the lake but it didn’t deter us from anything. Just should be aware if elderly people in your group that it could be difficult to get to lake and come back up. There is a child’s chair there and upstairs has a gate which was a great help for our group. Great view of the lake! Would definitely stay again! group. Thanks for a great stay and Jammie.

A perfect gals getaway

Five girlfriends had a wonderful getaway for three nights mid-Oct. Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, but we had a blast anyway. Hosts were very quick with their responses and their house was cleanly, and cute as a button. We played cards, worked a puzzle, watched some football and a movie, and cooked up some fabulous food to our hearts content. Beautiful view of the lake too!
