"A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality. I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment. 5 stars all around!"

"Just reopened after a referb, and a few things were still being finished off, but the staff were hugely welcoming, the rooms were great and the new reception and bar areas look very smart."

"This place had the best breakfast I had in my entire trip. Cooked to order and it was just fantastic. The building seems to be very old and even spooky, but overall the stay was pretty good."

"Great place to stay xx"

"Always stay here, friendly staff"

"Staff amazing and the rooms fantastic. Food also nice if u eat in with added bonus of free parking"

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel appearance looked good. Our bedroom and bathroom was clean and tidy buy very dated. Needs a fresh coat of paint and a shower cubicle instead of a shower over the bath it’s not safe for elderly people. There were toiletries to use. It would be economical to have a hand soap dispenser instead of a bar of soap. But we had an enjoyable stay."

"Excellent breakfast and clean comfortable room. Would stay again."

"Welcomed by a lovely, helpful lady, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. She took us next door and showed us where our room was, we had a twin room on the top floor, it was immaculately clean, very comfortable beds and bathroom very clean with toiletries supplied. Small private car park to rear of hotel, which is locked 10pm-7am. Bus stop directly outside into the town, or a 10 min walk. Would definitely stay again when in Cardiff."

"Staff was really nice, great room, would definitely stay again, recommend 💯"
