I didn't expect much, but was was very pleasantly surprised. This is beautiful colonial building with a courtyard, shade, trees, pool and benches. View of the cathedral. Parking on site was major plus for us on this trip. We booked two rooms, one of the 4 beds didn't look clean or the sheets were too old, and the bathroom was little run down, but still very decent. I would suggest adding a mini fridge to the rooms. For the bargain hunter or those on a budget, it's the answer to a prayer. Directly on the central parque of Valladolid, there is tons to see on foot, restaurants, shopping, and sights. The restaurant serves a decent breakfast with good portions. The sheets were practically transparent and the bathroom lacked a marble vanity, lol, but, the pool was clean and refreshing and our fellow guests were all lovely people.
