The location of the hotel is great. So central and makes evening very easy to reach and walk to. We got the bus tour at the end of the street which was great at getting your bearings. The hotel itself is lovely. Very modern and basic but in a good day. The balcony was also a great addition. We checked in very late and the remote check in instructions were great. We also had an issue with tickets and reception we’re happy to print them for us. The Bombay cafe downstairs was great too. Service and food both fab. My only complaint would be the shower and hairdryer. The shower didn’t have great pressure and the cradle for shower head was broken meaning it only showered at chest level. The hairdryer is on the wall in the corner meaning you need to practically sit on the toilet seat to dry your hair. Both annoyances but not dealbreakers and wouldn't stop me staying there again.

Great place to stay
Very nice guesthouse in Valencia, which was perfect for 3 nights. Easy self-check in as we arrived late, and the location is very central. The room (with balcony) was a decent size, and the enclosed balcony area was great for the mornings/evenings. Bathroom relatively small but very decent still. The only slightly bad thing was the loud cleaning that was going on in rooms next to us during the morning, but this was a minor issue and didn’t happen the last morning we were there. Overall a really lovely and private place for a few nights, and would recommend to anyone else!

It felt overall safe and walking distance to everything I had planned on seeing, The staff was friendly and they are able to hold your luggage until check-in. There’s a restaurant downstairs that’s really good , good coffee. I enjoyed this stay.

This was the most beautiful room I've stayed in in a while. The bed was very comfortable, and the room looked out to a beautiful street through an old-style Spanish balcony. It was in the center of everything, but I didn't have any noise issues.

Great value for money
I had an excellent stay in this hotel which is situated in a central but quiet part of the city centre. My room was small but perfectly adequate with modern fixtures and fittings. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants all within walking distance, as is the railway station. I will definitely return.

Charming rooms with a fantastic views
Fantastic little place in the heart of Valencia. Rooms are fully updated but still retain historic character and charm with lovely balconies and views. Absolutely loved my stay! Front desk is only staffed from 10am to 2pm but self check in is simple and staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Service was great and very clean but there was so much noise that we had hard time sleeping. It would be more convenient if there was a lift in the building as we had to carry all those heavy luggage to the third floor, not easy!

Wonderful
This turned out to be a wonderful experience. The history and vibe of the place, the surroundings, the town, the delicious breakfast with the views, the super friendly staff...this was one of the best experiences ever on a hotel.

Modern room in a charming old building
Lovely old building in the middle of a very vibrant neighborhood. The interior is modern with clean linens and nice balcony. There's a café downstairs that serves fresh pastries in the morning. Check in late was easy with electronic keypad and clear instructions from host.

An excellent choice for a stay in Valencia
Casa del Patriarca provides clean and modern, rooms with friendly staff in a safe and well-located area. Some of the rooms have an interesting setup, as many older buildings do, as our shower and a sink was in the same room but the toilet and another sink were located down the hall. It was still a private bathroom for only our use, accessed with the same keycard, but you did have to walk a few steps down the hall to access. The location is extremely quiet at night, but if there is noise on the street you can really hear it through the non-insulated windows. The rooms are upstairs without an elevator. I don’t mind carrying my bags up stairs or walking down the hall for the WC I Exchange for friendly service and the chance to stay in a beautiful historic building. This is a well-run establishment with very helpful and kind staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the centre of old Valencia. Compact room with pleasant view over street & nice interior. Clean & quiet. Reception organised for us to pick up keys after reception had closed as we arrived late. Would recommend as a brilliant base when looking/walking round the city.

Groovy room design, great location
Great location near old quarter, comfortable room with funky decor. Great liaison from reception about accessing keys when desk not manned. Book a balcony room for a bit of outside space.

Uncooperative Management - Not a Hotel
Total rip-off! The owner refused to refund my payment minutes after booking. I needed this because of their inability to guarantee a late check-in. No one answers the phone because I guess it isn't really a hotel. When they finally do, no refund. I realise the room was booked last minute and within the cancellation period, but I should have been offered a way to check-in at midnight. Ridiculous!

Tolle Lage und charmante Einrichtung. Ein Café im Erdgeschoss ist sehr praktisch zum frühstücken. Bad sehr klein. Bei der Rezeption ist noch Luft nach oben - sie ist nur halbtags besetzt und nicht besonders gut ausgestattet. Kofferaufbewahrung ist beispielsweise nur bis 14 Uhr möglich.
