I just returned from an incredible stay at The Rex, and it was amazing. Everything from the wonderfully attentive staff, the beautiful hotel, the spa, and the best morning breakfast spread, makes this hotel absolute go to when visiting Zermatt. Highly recommended.

Great views and service
Breakfast was awesome. View from our balcony was great. Quiet. Ask for a fan in this sweltering heat and it will help!! The staff was great and helped every time we asked.

The Rex made us all feel like VIPs and acted at high level Concierge service. You will not regret staying here as the property is so comfortable and are super guest oriented. Your comfort and enjoyment are everything to this staff. Thank you for the incredible stay!

Great location , loved our junior suite , beautiful bathroom too ! Staff were unbelievably helpful , loved our time spent at their outdoor terrace ( garden ) the cocktails were yumptious !! Thank you all at the Rex for taking such good care of us ! Not to forget ...fabulous breakfast every morning ...fresh baked in house bread !! Cannot wait to come back !

Loved the breakfast! It was a nice cosy place to stay in Zermatt. The location was central and easy to get around. The receptionist was very friendly to us and helpful with lots of information on things to do but the waitress/staff in the breakfast area was unfriendly. We arrived late so we did not try the spa.

Everything was top notch! The staff are extremely kind and helpful, they’ve coordinated our cab ride from the car parking in both arrival and departure. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed. Breakfast was very good, too. Overall, it’s a great experience.

Wonderful stay! It was in a great location walking distance to everything ... and the 9 min walk to the lift got easier by the day :) Staff was very friendly and beyond helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, rooms very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you.

The Rex is amazing. The staff go above and beyond to help you. They can get you the best deal on ski lift tickets, make sure you get breakfast even though you are checking out at 6 am and everything is still closed, and help you with any reservations. The spa is excellent! We went every night and it helped me so much to relax my myself after a full day of skiing. Finally the breakfast was super delicious. Everything served was really good. I loved the cheese selection and the fresh baked bread. We will be returning!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Zermatt
This property is amazing. It is near the Very center of town. Walkable to everything. It has a courtyard with loads of chairs for enjoying the outside. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well-appointed. Minibar, fridge, heated towel racks, robes/slippers, complimentary water and kombucha. The spa area is also exemplary--hot tub/jacuzzi, pool, sauna, wet sauna, and aromatherapy shower. All very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Breakfast in the morning is extensive and delicious. Eggs, bacon, granola bar, breakfast, cheeses, meats, espresso, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall I really enjoyed the property. The room and the fixtures were very nice. The spa, bar, and breakfast area were all fantastic as well. The overall hospitality and accommodation was the best I have ever experienced in my life as well.

Everything about this hotel was spectacular. I had an amazing 10/10 balcony view of the Matterhorn for sunsets and sunrises. The staff there took care of every concern I had. I would Absolutely return to the Rex Hotel for my next future visit.

The pool/spa downstairs was impressive. Breakfast was above average. Location was a bit out of the way, but in crowded, touristy Zermatt that might be a good thing. My room was small, my bed was small, the shower was small.
