Bansko6 nights5.0 star property9.2/10 - Wonderful (132 reviews)"The property is priced at the high end for this town, while it provides a run-down facility and mediocre hygiene. The in-room amenities barely work and carry the marks of many years of service, the towels have stains, and judging by the dates on the product labels of the equipment, the room we stayed in has not been refitted in at least 13 years. This was the worst spent 150 eur per night!"Reviewed August 9, 2026Roundtrip • Montreal (YUL) - Sofia (SOF)YUL - SOF • 2 stops SOF - YUL • 1 stopCA $2,862CA $2,274found 8 hours agoper traveller - ESTE PARK Hotel Plovdiv

We had a small incident, and after sharing with her, she went beyond our expectations to make our stay comfortable. I can’t say enough how caring she was. The rental of golf equipment was a bit pricey, and I would have expected to have a bit better price for guest of the hotel, but that wasn’t the case. Of course, for longer stay, it is worth getting your own equipment. However, for us, it was unexpected decision to visit, so no gold equipment..."Reviewed July 7, 2026Roundtrip • Montreal (YUL) - Sofia (SOF)YUL - SOF • 2 stops SOF - YUL • 1 stopCA $2,442CA $2,023found 8 hours agoper traveller - Bey House Royal Hotel

Vakarel Hotel Deals
"The room was not clean during my stay."
"Was not told there is no hot water. Asked for a 4am wake up call and didn't get one until 4:30am. The front desk guy said he was busy when asked why he didn't call when specific asked for. Asked for a to go breakfast but did not get one. If you want poor customer service ,no hot water and staff to busy to attend to the customer needs this is a hotel for you. I will never go back to this hotel again."
