The kitchen is well appointed (dishes, cookware etc). The hot tub is right out the back door, very nice! The house is conspicuously missing things you expect in a ski house - for example, peg hooks near the door for your ski jacks, pants, a place for your ski equipment in the garage. The only real complaint is the that the property is managed by Berkshire Hathaway and they hound you. We received no less than 8 messages (via email AND text) reminding us checkout time was 10am...it gets to be very annoying after you get these messages. Just tell people check out time is 10am and if they don't check out on time, add a fee...but nagging is very unprofessional. Also - they have so so many rules - all easy to follow, but it makes you feel like you are visiting your great grandmother's house with the plastic covered furniture. All in all, a very nice place, but the atmosphere of walking on thin ice is unpleasant. ##### Michael S. Unfortunately, the bedrooms were dirty, are dated, and the beds were not comfortable. If you do stay here, bring your own pillows! Although bedrooms and bathrooms are little dated, the living area is wonderful and a large space not usually found in Vail Valley. It’s a great space for entertaining and very comfortable. My husband and I and our three sons We’re so grateful to find the property was better than expected and we already thought it would be perfect. This property has everything you could need including humidifiers in all the bedrooms, plenty of linens and extra blankets… And the hot tub on the back deck was such a joy for everyone after a long day of skiing.
