This remodeled residence has 4 bedrooms plus a large basement bedroom. The living room features wood beamed vaulted ceilings, which give the whole home a spacious and cozy feel. The living area is so large it almost feels like there are two. On one side there is a wood burning fireplace, on the other there are large windows through which you can look out onto the deck at the Gore Mountain Range and surrounding forest. The kitchen was recently remodeled with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The chef in the family or the chef that you hire, will be happy with this well equipped space. The kitchen looks out into the living room so the cook can stay in tune with what's happening with the rest of the group. A dining room just off the kitchen has a large wooden dining table for all the group to gather around at mealtime. There are 4 bedrooms and then one basement bedroom. Bedroom 1 boasts vaulted ceilings, a private patio, and a King Bed, along with an attached master bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two Twins. Bedroom 3 a Queen Bed and soft natural light. Bedroom 4 is great for kids or adults and has 2 Twins, a reading chair, and multiple windows with great views of surrounding nature. The basement level is home to a wall mounted flat screen TV, a foosball table, and 2 Queen Beds. Once again, a great place for anyone to enjoy! There are spaces to park cars if you prefer to drive. If you'd like to leave the cars behind, the free city bus picks up right across the street from our home and will take you mostly anywhere you'd like to go in the Vail area. We have laundry, both washer and dryer at the house for your convenience. We look forward to hosting you at our home in East Vail! The sleeping arrangements were great. We had a lot of couples and one single person and everyone got their own room/privacy which is so nice! It’s rare to find a place where one of the “beds” isn’t a pull out couch. The living room area with a gorgeous fire place, is huge, with plenty of furniture for people to sit on. My husband came on the trip, but was unable to ski due to having knee surgery, and he enjoyed relaxing/falling asleep in the comfy reclining chairs in front of the TV in the living room with a nice crackling fire. Needless to say, it was a nice, cozy environment to relax and enjoy time off the slopes! The kitchen is equipped with more supplies than you would ever need. Anything we needed to cook for a large group, they had! We also admired the layout of the place. It worked well and the dining room table is huge. We played many fun games and had large group breakfasts’ and dinners at that table. The shuttle bus stop, which is a few steps away from the place, was a huge benefit for us! It comes every 30 mins and was always on time! With a large group, it can be hard to get everyone to be ready at the same time, so the FREE bus allowed for some independence and it saved us a lot of money parking in the Vail Village.
