This home was well located to amenities and surrounding areas, right on the river, so the river lulls you to sleep when you go to bed. The appliances are top quality, well supplied kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Ironing board, iron, hanging space for hang drying. Rooms were large to spread out and not be on top of each other. We had every thing we needed down to even reading glasses, vases, pens and pencils. The beds were unbelievably comfortable as were the pillows. They literally had everything we could have needed and more. Keri the owner was VERY responsive and took care of every need. There were even beach towels for the pool and river rafting and floating tubes for the pool. Chairs to sit by the river and read. A bottle of wine and thank you note, coffee, etc. there is not enough space to list all the reasons we loved our stay. We have a friend there we could rent a 4 million $ home from but this one is every bit as nice. Space to spread out, and watch different shows to watch tv, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas. The view of Gore Creek was very relaxing from the back patio and family room. The condo is in a convenient location as we hiked several trails at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Breckenridge driving to the trailhead or gondola/lift locations by rental car. Note that after Labor Day weekend, mountain lifts and gondolas only run on weekends in the area until ski season begins. Playing golf was a fun activity at EagleVail Golf Club and Vail Golf Club. For a nice dinner outdoors on a patio we enjoyed Elways. Our Montauk Seafood Grill dinner was delicious also. There is a Safeway Grocery Store nearby. After full days of activities it was nice to come back to the quiet setting of the lovely condo. This was our second stay at the Johnson Ski House and it continues to be a lovely townhome on Gore Creek. The location is in West Van, steps from the free town of Vail Bus so no need to drive. The home is very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture, great beds , well appointed kitchen and a nice size laundry room to store skis,etc and a huge washer and dryer. Everything is clean and spotless and the owners are very responsive. This is a small complex with a shared pool and hot tub. There are full time residents so it’s nice and quiet.
