"A very nice, private, cute little villa to stay in right over the water. Check in was a breeze. Having a rental car is a must to get to nice beaches for swimming and groceries and etc. there is no air conditioning but it’s not a problem when there’s a breeze off the water."

"We have stayed at Raiatea Lodge previously and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed to see that we could not use the dock to launch kayaks and go snorkeling which we were really looking forward to. They also have a new chef and we’re handling COVID issues as much as possible."

"My husband & I loved our trip to this island and Hotel Royal Bora Bora. The value at this resort is excellent for its location, beach, staff and room. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed riding the resort’s bicycles to the easily reached markets & neighboring beaches. The water is so stunning and there are many spots to enjoy public swimming and snorkeling. The breakfast buffet was consistently very good! I’ll really miss this place. The resort scheduled a day trip of snorkeling, where I saw this magical fleet of manta rays, black tip sharks, sting rays and beautiful fish. I’m thankful to the staff who were so helpful and sweet. A side note - we asked to speak with one of the animal groups on the island who provide sterilization to the homeless dogs we saw in large numbers. This is something that pulls on our heartstrings. As a tourist, there are ways to help with this cause if one wants to.
We hope to return one day!"

"I had a very hood stay at the bungalow, Jonny was the perfect host and was keen to show me around even taking me and another house guest to visit a park and we went canoeing up the estuary to the river. His mum was lovely and I was fortunate to be invited for food. He was very informative and I had the use of a bicycle for free. I would thoroughly recommend the bungalow.
