"My room for 4 nights was in the main building. Excellent maintenance and very clean. The staff took a high level of ownership in this place and it shows. Looking for a 5 star resort? - - this is not for you. Looking for a top of the line 3 star resort - - this is it. Pool and hot tub and breakfast were great."

"I stayed at the Moose Brook Motel for three nights and was pleasantly surprised. The property is small and so was the room. It didn't have AC but it had a ceiling fan which was more than adequate. It had a large outdoor pool which I didn't use only because of time, It isn't a resort and it showed its age in some spots, but it was a great value for the money. I would stay there again. This was a solo trip, just myself"

"This historic hotel should compare to resorts such as the Greenbrier, the Homestead, the Broadmoor in customer service. My only complaint in that regard was the lack of staff upon initial arrival at the front door. I am used to never being allowed to touch my luggage until a porter has delivered it to my room. I'm used to not having to open my own car door when I arrive. I'm used to a doorman when I enter the lobby. None of that happened here and I think it should. That being said, I loved the hotel and I'm sure we'll stay again. I loved the history, including the haunted history. I loved cocktails on the sweeping veranda overlooking Mount Washington. Our room was small by today's standards but superb in every other way. The complimentary shuttle service to "off campus" resort properties and amenities was great. I believe this hotel will be on my calendar next summer!"
