Hotel was pretty far from the Munich city center, but the train was only a 10 minute walk. It led you right into the city or wherever you needed to go in 20-25 mins.
Although outside the city, the hotel was in a nice, quiet area. There is a restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The only thing we did not like is that we put a "Please Do Not Disturb" sign on our door and when we returned after a day of seeing the city, somebody had obviously been in our room.
The "Do Not Disturb" sign was in the room, on the desk. Our curtains were shut (we left them open), and the food in the fridge had been tampered with.... it looked like somebody grabbed the container too hard and the sauce/juices from the container spilled all over.
We went to reception and they switched us to another room. The room we were originally in had an upstairs with a door that led to who knows where... The one they switched us to was a regular room with just one door in and out. Besides that the hotel and the staff were great.
