"In the very heart of Tours opposite the road from the main train station. Very convenient to explore the city. Room was well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities. Nice and modern interior. Views over the main square from the large window made the room light and airy. Reception area was clean and well presented."

"Beautiful little hotel that is perfect for exploring Tours or nearby Loire Valley chateaux. The proprietors were very friendly and suggested a local restaurant that was delicious. The hotel is a short walk from excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping. We had a lovely little balcony in room 4, which is huge by European standards. The bathrooms are very nice with lots of hot water. The decor is eclectic and fun. Highly recommend! "

"Hotel Colbert is on one of the main streets of Tours, but it is a quiet street with plenty of small restaurants and some retail. Very convenient for exploring the centre of town. The owner/manager is very helpful and friendly, supplying a good continental breakfast."
