"The room was one of the better ones that I have stayed at in the area. I did see a few flies in my room which was disgusting to me especially since I seen a few reviews mention that as well. If there’s a fly issue they need to get that addressed with pest control. The guy that checked me in was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. I made a call to the front desk and my issue was resolved promptly with that as well. I didn’t get up to try the breakfast but complimentary breakfast was included. I’ll say the room was decent for the price I paid. It’s nearby a few restaurants and the movie theater. I would probably stay there again in the future."

"There are no dishes or pots and pans. The microwave is of good size and a two burner cook stove is provided. Plus grills outside. I recommend you take extra towels because it is so humid there they don't dry between showers. Dish soap provided but not bath soap. Full size refrigerator but check what the temp it's set on when you arrive. Ours was set on coldest and froze all our produce. Beds are excellent and real nice sheets. Large tv and wifi. No Internet signal out there in caddo area. Good air-conditioning. A wonderful access to the lake with kayaks, canoes and gear provided. Cafe next door open Thurs - Sat. Pontoon boat rides available next door but schedule in advance. Well worth the money! On the whole we were pleased with this comfortable place on the lake and will stay again. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at Lakeside Landing, and this was better than the 1st! The hot tub was amazing. It was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of using all of the houses amenities to keep ourselves busy outside. My kids had a blast and we made memories at last lifetime.. Jennifer checked in on us said just the right times to make sure that we had everything we need and we did. The kitchen was fully stopped so we could have our family breakfast. There’s a little store right up the road., you’re in the woods, but you have everything you need. Just show up with your food and you’re adventurous spirit, and the hosts and Jennifer will do the rest."

"We were attending a family reunion at Caddo Lake and needed a house large enough for 12 people. I was having trouble finding one for my family when I found the listing for Cedar Wood Lodge. It was definitely not fancy but really had everything we needed. It was a little confusing when we got there because I had already figured out sleeping arrangements based on the pictures from the listing but one of the bedrooms had completely different beds that what was pictured. It ended up working out ok though. I hadn't noticed that there was no dishwasher but thankfully we were only staying one night so we didn't use the kitchen that much anyway. One of the beds had a broken wheel on the frame which caused the bed to lean so that was a little interesting. And the beds that our adults slept in did not have particularly good mattresses. We definitely enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoes."
