"Stayed 2 nights in August. Spacious hotel with plenty to explore, we wished we'd had more time to make the most of all the facilities. Had a small hiccup with our room allocation at check-in, but the team resolved it quickly and professionally. Food was a highlight - great buffet breakfast with a wide selection, and good options across the various restaurants on site. We also played 18 holes of golf; the caddies were professional, polite and added a lot to the experience. Would recommend for a relaxing stay with plenty of facilities to enjoy, just make sure you allow enough time to see it all."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were big & clean and the pool is really nice. The staff were very helpful and organised our safari for the next day at check in. Breakfast and dinner were delicious!"

"Amazing experience with safari booked via this stay. The hotel is located in the jungle of udawalawe and the hosts were absolutely lovely. A lot of food options just ten minutes walk as well. Only issue was the chanting on a megaphone which was very loud which started at 4am until 6am and monkeys jumping up and down and running across the roof so I didn’t manage to get much sleep!"

"My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. My mum still can’t stop complimenting the food; my parents have travelled all around Sri Lanka and tried many different cuisines, so coming from them, that is actually really huge to hear! Next time I’m in Lanka, I already know where my first stop will be. 10/10 for such a great stay!"

"Great choice to stay in Tissa. The manager was a lovely man and very caring. The property is close to town and looked brand new. The room and bathroom were extra large and opulent. The breakfast cooked by the manager was magnificent."
