very poor experience with hotels.com
er suggest hotel prince heritage..and also would never suggest hotels.com for booking..as this website is very unreliable they dont furnish correct dtails of the hotels hence cannot rely upon the hotel we stayed didnt have parking facility..we used a paid parkin far away..whereas during booking they showed free parking access at the hotel..moreover the hotel was very much difficult to access upon..no details were shown prior to the booking..very pathetic booking experience..wont suggest hotels.com ever to anybody..

Staff is nice and the location is good. My room was a decent size and I thought the breakfast was all right. They have an amazing rooftop and the view of the city is beautiful. However, the sheets and towels are worn out and they don't provide basic amenities like bottled water or shampoo. For the price I paid, I was expecting more. Also, unless you're arriving late at night or early in the morning, I wouldn't ask for the airport pick up or drop off-it was too pricey.

Very difficult to access hitel, room conditions were unacceptable, breakfast on the forth floor with ni elevator, 'breakfast included ' was for a one number of s single item, . Worst hotel i ever stayed!!!

Very nice hertiage hotel
The hotel felt very old, yet very moden. Rooms were clean and in good condition. The breakfast in the morning was decent and is sure to make you feel full and ready to take on the day. Wifi wasn't so great, but you got free cable TV in your room, which meant lots of movies and series before bed. The location is very central, and is walking distance from most of the city sights. Also not to forget the beautiful puppy, Daisy. All in all, it was a really good choice and stay in udaipur.

Friendly and charming
Beautiful heritage hotel in traditional style. Super friendly staff who are very helpful and attentive, and will help organize whatever you need. Great location on the quieter side of the lake whilst still being only 10min walk over to the main tourist hub. Beautiful rooftop and great Indian breakfast. Rooms were huge and charming, with a large bed, however the bed was extremely hard and difficult to sleep on after a couple of nights. Also lots of noise from the street

The hotel is in a really bad and filty neighborhood. Room is very small, with broken windows and low quality stuff. I am disappointed that Hotels.com has not mentioned this - they need to start reviewing this hotels by themselves and see if the listing price is valid. Frankly this hotel is not worth more than Rs1000/day - they have duped everybody with Rs.3000/day - this is a fraud! Expedia should remove this hotel from the listing I would rather go Lake Pichola, which is 100x better, beautiful neighborhood, for same price.

Beautiful hotel with charm of the past
Unexpected in a little side street of Udaipur, you will find little prince. Already the first impression is very pleasant, with a beautiful front built in palace style. The hotel is lovely equipped with Italian marble entrance, wood furniture and awesome artwork. All this creates a warm, inviting and very charming atmosphere. Outstanding is the rooftop terrace and restaurant, also very nice equipped and decorated, but especially with an amazing view around the city and towards the lake pichola and lake palace. The management is very professional and engaged with guests, staff is very nice. The food is good, my room was very quiet and you have fast free wifi. little prince is really an oasis in the lively city Udaipur and worthwhile to stay.

I arrived at this hotel ridiculously early at 6:30AM. The doors were bolted and locked and nobody was around until well after 7:30AM when a local shopkeeper took pity on me and alerted the staff. They could not have been more apologetic, even though I wasn't expecting to check in until later, I just wanted to be able to leave my bags. However, they checked me in straight away and gave me breakfast! I was very impressed! However... When I tried to shower, the cold water tap came off in my hand, sending a forceful jet of water cascading all over the bathroom, soaking everything, as I struggled to reattach it. Then I realized there was no hot water at all and after running the hot tap through the shower for a few minutes, it completely dried up.They moved me to a lower floor and a similar room. I tested the shower and all seemed fine. In the morning, the same thing happened. The hot tap ran cold for a few minutes, then dried up completely. The second room had a mesh instead of glass in the bathroom window, which was rotting and full of holes, so someone had patched it with old newspaper. This didn't stop the mosquitos getting in and I was eaten alive during the night. The manager denied there was newspaper over the window, until I showed him! He also strenuously denied there was any problem with the plumbing and insisted there was both hot water and working showers. He seemed quite angry to be proven wrong.

Warm Hospitality, Helpful staff and lovely Host
The Little Prince was recommended by a dear friend, we thought of staying here. The hotel is very strategically located with walking distance to the city palace, old city markets and other attractions. The food is lovely and the staff is warm and respectful. The overall ambiance is as though coming to a friends royal home where one feels safe, secure and well looked after. If you are on a no frills holiday where you want to be sure of being looked after, clean rooms and good location with good accessibility to most attraction places, stay here !!

Beautiful rooms, excellent service, comfortable mattress, clean bathrooms, good simple breakfast with indian/western options, great location on quieter side (footbridge takes you over water to busier side), lovely view from rooftop, exceptional value, highly recommend, will stay here again

Good Hotel with great hospitality!!
It was really comfortable & enjoyable stay. Many locations were very nearby like 10/20 minute walking distance. Hotel owner helped us with details of location and direction really well. Breakfast service is really good. Best thing was they took care of us when we got stuck with how to travel to Jodhpur from Udaipur. Very nice & helpful folks. Learning out of this travel is book cabs from your hotel and not outside travel agents.

Udaipurs Little Prince
A small heritage home with character tucked in the tiny roads of Udaipur. Most spectacular rooftop view of the Lake Palace and City Palace as well. Walking distance to main areas. Nice quaint breakfast served on the rooftop. Small portable heaters provided with hot running water 24/7. Classic Udaipuri paintings done on the walls and the entire home makes the stay memorable. Staff is very very self. There is no elevator but the staff will assist you with your bags. On my last day I forgot my phone in the hotel and the staff reached the bus stand to give it to me. Shows how courteous the staff was.

Great little hotel
Wonderful experience at Little Prince Heritage Hotel. Good room, hot water, excellent restaurant, but the best thing is the great staff, especially a very helpful young man called Addy.

Nice hotel helpful staff
Good location on Hunaman ghat away from most touristy arrea but still very convenient. Staff speak good english and were very helpful Rooms are clean and in good order, price is fair for Udaipur

Not a heritage haveli at all.
It's new, clean and functional and the roof terrace has good views, but the hotel walls are thin, you can hear everything growing on inside and outside the hotel. Nice paintings on the wall don't make a hotel have heritage. Staff are young, service and standards of service are poor especially for the price of a super deluxe room. This is basically a big room with a TV, very little furniture or deluxe feel. It's an OK place to stay, but is expensive and there are much better, nicer, more authentic places to stay on Udaipur.

Not really a hotel
This is not really a hotel as they don't clean the rooms or do the bed during your stay. The worst thing about it is the bathroom where is no separation between the shower and the rest of the space and water gets everywhere. They provide a large mop and expect you to push the water to the corner drain. The manager is a helpful young man but the staff is 5 teen age boys hanging about. Breakfast was decent on a nice roof. You could find better places for the money.

It's not worth of your 4 rating
When I booked, it was with rating 4 on Expedia, so I thought that it must be good for higher middle class people. But it's not at all worth. It's good for just a sleeping purpose for lower middle class. Room Service not available; no hot water tab in the bathroom, unhygienicfood (found hair in kulcha); not at all good ambiance, situated in the central area where you can reach by dirty lanes passing with one-side single vehicle at a time. Reaching the hotel through the narrow lanes, made us not to visit any place in Udaipur with such dirty locale.

Nice guesthouse in Old Jaipur
This guesthouse has a very nice atmosphere, located in a beautiful area in Old Udaipur, very close to the City Palace. The room is nice and comfortable. The restaurant on the roof top has very good food. The staff is very friendly. The only set back is that internet didn't work in our room. There was a connection working on the rooftop restaurant though.

2.5 stars at most
Very disappointed with the little prince. We had high hopes since it has great reviews. There weren't any major problems as the hotel is quite nice and the workers were really lovely. There were just too many little problems that kept mounting. Things like having to change rooms twice cause the toilet leaked a lot, or the shower didn't work. There wasn't any hot water for the shower once we found a room that worked. The wifi didn't work in the room even though we were told it did. There were many other little issues that made it impossible to give anything better than a 2.5. Having said all that the staff truly is quite wonderful an made us feel at home which was a great silver lining.

Pleasant experience
The stay at Little Prince was very good. The roof top restaurant with a view of the Lake palace is pretty good. The service was also decent. However the location and neighborhood wasn't very good. I guess many such hotels around that place have the same problem. Also, this is run by private owners without a proper reception and No room service was available. The management of the hotel has to be more flexible and cater to all guests impartially.

The staff went the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. I was treated like a guest rather than a client. The food was exceptionally good and served to my liking, cooked individually for me. Great views from top floors; the hotel is located in residential area and is situated like a large house instead of a hotel.

Lovely, charming hotel, great service
The service could not be faulted, staff were very friendly, helpful and always there when you needed them. The hotel looked recently renovated, it was very pretty and the room very clean, crisp and fresh. Shower took a long time to heat up and squirted everywhere, but when it heated up it was fine. The roof top restaurant was brilliant, amazing food and views. It was down a quiet street, near the lake and the tuk tuk driver knew it immediately so getting there was simple.

Great place to stay for an authentic experience.
This is a little jewel in a great location. The staff will help in any way. Eat in the top floor restaurant for an amazing view and authentic visit. Catering to westerners. You are within walking distance to the sights. Noises are prevalent, from barking dogs to "call to prayer". But then, this is India. If you seek quiet solitude, go elsewhere. If you can roll with an Indian experience, check it out.

Great place!!
Little Prince Heritage Home was a great place to stay. The room was extremely clean and the owners/managers were very accommodating and friendly. The wifi is a little weak on the lower floors but works great on the rooftop lounge, and that lounge is very nice. There is a nice view of the City Palace (minimally blocked by a couple of trees) and a full view of the lakes and surrounding hills. I would definitely stay there again.

Great!
Hotel is simple and relaxing. Staff are friendly and helpful. The area that it is in is close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away to be a bit of an escape from the tourism workers. Overall: Great!

lovely hotel
My stay at the Little Prince was perfect! Nothing I would complain about! The guys running the place made me feel at home. The room was spacious and had very pretty wall decoration. Hot water worked perfectly. The roof restaurant was the ideal place to chitchat with people while enjoying a nice dinner and a wonderful view of the city. This is a place with character and wonderful service in a great location!

No Frills/Excellent Value
It costs practically nothing, it is clean, the rooms are basic and no-frills, but perfectly comfortable. The staff are awesome and make you feel like it is truly your home, and it is located on the Hanuman Ghat side of the lake, which has some of the prettiest views, and less chaos and confusion than the City Palace side of town.

Hotel review
Hotel is situated in narrow lanes of old city of Udaipur, in between residential houses. Lake side near to hotel is dirty and used for garbage dumping and washing cloths by local people. This part of lake is not developed as tourist attraction No TV in rooms as mentioned on website for all room type. Wifi is only available in common roof top area and not in rooms as mentioned in website. During my stay of 3 days, common wifi also was not working

The staff are very helpful. Fab rooms but the toilets could do with more space. Eddie and Chandra Were the best in rajasthan n we travelled loads in here! Udaipur was by far the best experience!

Hôtel sympa, avec un personnel accueillant et a l'écoute. Chambre propre. Petit déjeuné très bien préparé et goûteux. Dans une petite rue. Accès rapide au lac pichola ainsi que tout ce qu'il peut se visiter.

Ein tolles Hotel zum günstigen Preis. Ich war für 10 Nächte im "The little prince heritage" ......und wenn ich ehrlich bin, wäre ich gerne länger geblieben.

Nice stay at the little prince
A nice hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Well worth the money and the staff was very friendly. Nice view from the rooftop restaurant, which was simple but food was good.

BATHROOM TO IMPROVE
Overall the hotel is good, good location for visit de city. The bathroom quite dirty, bad smelling defenitely need to improve that. El hotel estuvo bien en general, buena localizacion ( lo siento pero no tengo tildes en este teclado) el bano bastante sucio y con mal olor
