The fusion of typical Balinese thatch roofing and modern lines, gives this villa a unique contemporary yet homely feel. Beautiful 2 bedroom villa with private swimming pool overlooking the rice fields. We have an air mattress making it possible to sleep with 3 in the air conditioned bedroom upstairs. We can also accommodate a child under 150cm (free) in the downstairs bedroom on a small sofa bed. Interior spaces that are stunning and cosy: New Moon's interiors are largely white and wood in colour, making them cool and elegant; whilst the open plan living/dining area gives the feeling of embracing the natural surroundings. The kitchen's combination of wood and terrazzo surfaces are an interior designer's dream, and offer an unequaled location for throwing together a family meal or crafting a culinary masterpiece for a special occasion. Meanwhile the large white L-shaped sofa and the unusual large wooden table in the living area are both aesthetically pleasing and luxuriantly comfortable; creating an ideal setting for eating, drinking or just relaxing during the day. The two air-conditioned bedrooms also encompass a perfect blend of elegance and relaxation; dark wooden flooring is matched with light coloured four posted beds that offer a great night's sleep every night. With an ensuite bathroom, private terrace and unblocked views of the natural surroundings, each bedroom becomes a haven for its occupants; to top it off the master bedroom opens onto the pool deck and features an open air bathroom with terrazzo bathtub, for a truly opulent and romantic escape. Peaceful and private outdoor spaces, with a view: The villa's crowning feature is perhaps its private 7m swimming pool opening to the neighbouring rice fields, (a unique attribute in the estate) which is set into its own terrace with sun loungers, perfect for sun worshippers who want some peace and quiet. The exterior spaces also include; a second lounge in the back garden, an outdoor dining table and a lounging sala with plush seating, all with jaw-dropping views over the adjacent rice paddies. The multitude of outdoor options means that whether you want to sip a sundowner with friends, enjoy an alfresco evening meal, or curl up with a good book, you can find the perfect setting here. The resort also has a larger communal pool (good for swimming laps) and children’s pool for guest use. Unbeatable services and local surroundings: New Moon is located just outside of the picturesque town of Ubud, famous for its food, views and cultural attractions, including striking waterfalls and temples; more information can be provided by the villa manager. This villa offers true tranquility as it is set away from the town, and has three restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive. The villa manager is available to make you a wonderful Indonesian lunch or evening meal upon request (for an additional cost), using fresh local ingredients. We also provide you with a pre-paid local phone and a selection of menus for local and international restaurants that will deliver to New Moon, meaning that, if you wish, you don't even need to enter Ubud for a sumptuous meal. When you arrive you will be picked up from the airport and will be greeted by a complimentary bouquet of flowers and basket of fruit, to make you feel truly welcome. During your stay the villa manager is always on hand to arrange a variety of services to help make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. These services include massage and spa treatments, bicycle and motorbike hire and a driver. The driver is particularly recommended, with good English speaking and an exceptional knowledge of Bali; he will ferry you around, tailoring to your preferences and desires, creating a unique experience of the island for you. He will save you loads of time and stress and is a genuine great guy." Daily maid service and breakfast are included in your stay and form part of your experience at New Moon villa. We didn’t spend much time in the living room, the TV was old and though there were dvds for us to choose from, they were all very dusty. But we didn’t need them any way. The pool, the sun and the company was more than enough. The open concept layout and generously sized sliding doors let the outdoor beauty into every room. The only sounds you will hear are nature and music from the nearby temples. Der Ausblick ist sehr schön. Da man mitten in der Natur lebt, hört man natürlich viele Tiere (Frösche, Geckos, Hähne), damit muss man sich arrangieren. Die Hähne sind wirklich früh wach und das teilen sie auch deutlich mit. Das Design der Villa und des Pools ist sehr chic, wir hatten im Master-Bedroom leider eine etwas durchgelegene Matratze und die Türen der Möbel könnten mal wieder gerichtet werden. Das Team vor Ort ist humorvoll, umwerfend nett (Wayan und Radna und der unglaublich gute und unterhaltsame Fahrer Putu) und sorgt dafür, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren. ##### Bernd W. Ein toller Pool und immer ein fantastischer Blick auf die Reisfelder. Der Service des Hausoersonals lässt keine Wünsche offen. Transfer vom Flughafen ist perfekt. Man hat für die Zeit des Aufenthalts ein lokales Handy zur Verfügung, was für manche Reservierungen und für Nachfragen beim Manager der Villa sehr hilfreich ist. Ein rundum perfekter Service in einer perfekten Location - ideal zum Entspannen und Genießen. ##### Alexandra S. I stayed at New Moon for 4 days with my husband and was not disappointed by the appearance of the villa! The location was beautiful, the pool perfection and the staff was outstanding! Wayan (house manager) and Made (driver) went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay! Made promptly picked us up at the airport and Wayan had a lovely dinner prepared for us on arrival (even got a bottle of wine and birthday cake)! We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of our stay and beauty of the locale! (The only reason I rated it four stars was because of the every crowing roosters that woke us up well before 4 am each day) ##### Trisha O. The villa was impeccable and charming and we loved every minute we spent there. The rice paddy was serene and beautiful and besides a few village sounds, which added completely to the country life, the only thing we could hear was nature around us. Much quieter than the following villa we are at now which boasted tranquility but hosts day-long (6am-10pm) constant sounds of motor bikes and honking cars, despite its beautiful natural setting. Highly recommended. We enjoyed being a short distance from Ubud and all the exciting things it has to offer. New Moon was everything we had hoped for and much more. Wayan and Ratna at New Moon were kind and helpful and provided a delicious breakfast for us every day and a tasty evening meal when we planned a relaxing evening in. They kept the property clean and tidy from top to bottom. It's definitely worth arranging some trips with Putu who chauffeured us to some terrific places in Bali during our stay and provided an entertaining narrative along the way. The location gave us the opportunity to do cookery courses, craft courses, try loads of exciting places to eat, do some yoga, visit waterfalls, feed elephants, visit volcanos, electric cycle safari in the rain \[brilliant!\], visit beaches, and drink amazing coffee.
