All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT WATER. In Ubud you don’t absolutely need it, but it would make the first minute of showering more comfy! For those on a budget, I’d still recommend this place for the very convenient and central location. It is family run and everyone was very sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the price even better. They graciously arranged private transport at a fair price and even brought me a forgotten item after check out. Cheap massage and market extremely close by! Excellent breakfast included. Nice balcony set up. Only complaint is the children were very loud all day long. They would play as children do so I can’t be mad, but they would scream and shout all day. Would be nice if they didn’t scream. But I’m glad they’re happy and playing safely. Also no hot water but again it’s ok. Plenty of restaurants and activities near by.
