We enjoyed the inside vibe very much. You can't see the beach itself because of the dunes, but the beach was right there at a short distance. It was a gorgeous view either way. The price for 4 nights was decent. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Also the ac was excellent and the hot water was too! Very family friendly place as well. Cons:The street to it is a narrow drive between 2 hotels. It was a little hard to find. There is a huge warp in the 2nd entrance inside the train car part that we kept tripping over. I highly suggest it get repaired before renting it out again. If someone does get hurt, that's an easy lawsuit. Most of the doors wouldn't shut all the way but it wasn't a big deal to us. The front door was a learning experience to open and close... there was a trick to it. But we learned it quickly. ##### Amanda D. My family and I were able to fit ok, but if anyone else is remotely on the larger side, you'd have trouble fitting thru doorways and in the showers. I also did not realize one of the bedrooms is literally thru the master and I did not love that. That was my fault though for not realizing that when I read the description. Exceeded our expectations; photos can't do justice to the house and the location! We were so impressed with the care given to restoration of the historic center of the property and the tastefulness of the decor and furnishings. And SUPER comfortable beds, sofas, and chairs. We settled right in. I left my phone when we left, and the response was prompt and helpful. Thank goodness! Our only suggestion is to upgrade the stove. A dishwasher would be nice but maybe not feasible in the available space. We were enchanted with our Tybee Trolley stay. However, I feel that the place needs a little bit of tender love and care. For example, the door was very hard to close and open, and also it took about an hour for us to get the key out of the key lock. We realized that the bed in the master bedroom had a book that was holding it up.which seemed kind of ridiculous. The sofa and the beds need to be replaced as the sofa sank all the way down and the bed gave us both back pain. It was clean and decorated so cute. We had everything we needed. Close to the beach which was wonderful. Quiet. The weather could have cooperated a little (rainy) but we had a wonderful visit. We also could not open the lock to get the key out to open the door. There needs to be instructions on how to open the lock as we had to have someone come & open it for us. We waited over an hour to get in. We also didn't realize that we had no view of the water while using the porch due to the dunes. Something I will consider in future bookings. We were looking for a unique, relaxing experience for our first visit to Tybee Island; this property was just right. The Tybee Trolley is quaint (even a little quirky, as you might expect) but very comfortable and well maintained. As one might expect from the property listing, this is more of an unpretentious beach cabin than a luxury property. But it has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We liked the location: on a relatively quiet stretch of the island, yet still within walking distance of both south beach/Tybrisa Street (about a mile away) and the north beach area (less than a mile away). We especially enjoyed time on the deck, right in front of the dunes. When the wind was a little too strong for deck time, it was easy to retreat into the porch area or the living area, without losing any of the gorgeous view. The kitchen was well equipped, and the air conditioning, plumbing, appliances, etc., all worked well, with one minor exception. We ran a load of laundry midway through the week and found that the dryer wasn't producing enough warm air to dry the clothes. In all, we had a great time. The Tybee Trolley was an excellent choice for us. ##### Jason D. The cleanliness of this property was terrible. The first night we had to have them come out and clean the bathroom as it has not been clean. No pillow cases on the pillows. Most of the doors on the property interior you could barely get open(it took an act of congress to do so) \*EXTREME FIRE HAZARD\* and the sun room floor fell in while we stayed there. Oh and there was broken windows being held together by tape. During the stay the company was very responsive with our concerns and was prompt to fix what they could but after you check out they did not want to help you resolve any issues/compensate for your troubles. Very disappointed with the stay especially for the price paid. They wouldn’t even compensate the cleaning cost of the property very disappointed! Will never stay with Tybee Cottages/ Lucky Savannah again! ##### Matthew C.
