Modern apartment in quiet seaside village

Easy to locate the owner (the friendly and available Giuseppe) as we set our SatNav to Porto Marina cafe. It was great to finally get to Sicily/Castel Di Tulsa following lockdown. This was a great modern apartment just off the main road in C. Di Tusa, only 2 minutes from the small sandy beach and local restaurants. As for the accommodation, it was spotlessly clean, modern and functional. We loved the rooftop terrace where local daily life could be observed. Also the air conditioner, fantastic walk in shower, spacious comfortable bed and secure off-road parking for our hire car. Giuseppe suggested the train (local train station only a few minutes away) to Cefalu and this indeed was a great day out!

Too short a stay

My husband and I decided to do a small tour of Italy for our honeymoon: 3 days in Castel di Tusa (where my family originates) and a week in Florence. I was incredibly sad to leave Sicily. The apartment was impeccable, the views phenomenal, and the distance to the beach unbeatable. It is quintessential rustic Italian life and it was perfect. Guiseppe was a fantastic host, greeted us with gelato and explained the ins and outs of the house before leaving us to relax. I would come back here in a heartbeat; and for much longer.
