No kids (below age 16) are allowed up at the home, even for a visit, since the deck railings are not child-proof. About 80% of the people who have rented this home come back for return visits, a good indication of its quality and magnificence. About half of the rental parties are just a couple (2 people), though there's obviously plenty of room for 4-6 people. We have another property at vrbo.com/358276 that's been rented for a while, it has over 140, five-star reviews. From that, you can get an idea of how well we treat our guests. Visitors describe this as an absolutely magical place. What separates this property from other homes, besides the phenomenal views, is the quiet and privacy. The private drive dead-ends to the 5-acre lot, and the way it's situated in the mountains, allows for a feeling of a complete get-away. Other homes may be in the mountains, but often have neighbors and roads so close that you hear cars, dogs barking, landscapers, etc. This property is adjacent to the Sabino Canyon National Park, a place with miles of hikes and walks. The property is high enough to see over the Tucson mountains to the west, and about 60 miles into the mountains in Mexico! The furnishings and finishes are high-end. We love to hike and could walk to the Sabino canyon trails which were right out our back door. The mountain and city views are spectacular and so much that we chose to use the very well stocked kitchen every night and take in the sunsets. You feel as though you have wonderful privacy yet are only minutes from any activity you might enjoy. Just about everything you could need was provided by the host. The bidets were an added bonus. Jason is a marvelous host who responds to any correspondence immediately and leaves very clear instructions for operating anything. This has been the third VRBO property we rented in the past year and by far the absolute best. When a vacation to Tucson is back on the agenda I would definitely rent this property again. The house is breathtaking. The wrap around porch hosted many glasses of wine and morning cups of coffee while taking in the amazing views. Jason was extremely easy to work with and on top of any of our needs. I have never rented a home with a better stocked kitchen... every single thing that is needed for someone who enjoys cooking. This house was just perfect. So private yet close to everything. You are literally neighbors with Sabino State park, all the hiking you could ever want. The house was very CLEAN. There is plenty of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, everything you need for kitchen. Excellent for entertaining very open floor plan. All the beds were very comfy. Communicated very well before and during our stay. We had 3 couples and house was plenty big with lots of areas to sit. Great location in the foothills offers views of sunsets and sunrises and the city at night. We cooked most nights and kitchen stocked well enough with pots, pans, and utensils to work well.
