(2 things that are VERY close are the Titan Missle Museum and The ASARCO Copper Mine) Also, check out the Wednesday Market-all sorts of fun and interesting vendors.It's also a great neighborhood for your morning or evening walk.Monica was a stellar host, always prompt with her responses. The townhouse felt spacious for the 2 of us and was equipped with everything we needed. The back patio, with a lovely view of the Santa Rita mountains, was a lovely spot to sit and relax after a full day of adventuring. The amenities were great: washer and dryer, laundry supplies, large bottles of soap and shampoo. We each had our own bathroom. The little sitting room allowed us to set up a space just for viewing and processing digital photos and chill on the main living area. The kitchen had everything I needed including knives, gadgets, and plenty of dinnerware. Mark especially appreciated coffee available when we arrived. Sugar, salt and pepper were also nice touches. It was quiet and easy to relax after a day of bird watching. The king bed was comfortable and the room was still spacious. Convenient to stores, golf; we were mainly interested in birding and hiking from Tucson south and this casita made those activities readily available.
