Pros: Location and helpful, friendly staff. Free breakfast was an added bonus.
Cons: Insufficient lighting in the room. There was a light on a nightstand on only one side of the bed, making it impossible for two people to read in bed.
We were very pleased with the location and the beautiful view from our waterside room. The HVAC unit worked well, but was noisy.

Nice hotel by the bay

Pros: The rooms, location, price
Cons: Softer beds
Location: Great location along the bay
Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved their hot tub! The breakfast was also quite tasty. It was a great experience. Will definitely go back!

This has been my daughter's favorite hotel since she was little. She is now 19 and it's still her favorite.

Comfortable and welcoming lobby area. Room was clean. Shuttle to downtown area was helpful. I will try to return again.

Outstanding in all ways!

Came here for a winter getaway, to sled and hike the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Every aspect that you would expect to be addressed in a positive way was taken care of. Welcoming staff, clean rooms, excellent value (including having an additional night added for 50% of standard rate), excellent assistance when needed (our 8 yr old got sick on the bathroom floor and front desk helped right away), very good hot breakfast provided, great location on the water and close to downtown and other attractions. Just fantastic for me, my wife, and my three children! This will be our first choice for our next trip to the area!

Nice upgrades keep the place fresh

Having stayed here several times the service and level of comfort remains top notch .. the rooms overlooking the pool are on the small side, at least ours was and despite the nice updates the window overlooking the pool still doesn't filter the noise and general loudness of others on the floor also carried on through early hours. Second night was much quieter.
