Nice view on the water.

Pros: Location, view, and price for the suite.
Cons: More protein at breakfast and Starbucks coffee.
Location: Too much to do and see in one day.
Wish I could have stayed longer. The only thing I would have changed a bit was breakfast.

Nice clean Hotel

Pros: Very clean and quiet.
Very clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. Views of the bay are fantastic and I will stay here again in the future.

Weekend getaway

Pros: location
Cons: some electronic updating, more outlets in the room, larger breakfast area and more food selection
Location: wine tasting and browsing shops down town
We were upgraded to a beach front room without asking. Just remember in the future to adjust the rate prior to charging the guest. Although it was taken care of when I asked, how many guests just wouldn't pay attention and then be upset when they got their CC statement? The breakfast area could be bigger. This was a busy weekend however staff told me they were not sold out. I can't imagine how crowded it would have ben if all rooms were sold. And the only eggs avail were hard boiled. We went out for breakfast both mornings we were there. Some updating needed in the rooms. For example the phone station/alarm clock is extremely outdated. over all I will recommend and I will return. We have stayed here in the past.

I can assure you that the wrong billing does not occur often at all, and we work hard to always be accurate in our billing. And if we do find an error, we fix it and inform our guest. We have built our reputation on trust and integrity, and there won't be a moment that we purposely work to undermine that as long Riley Hotel Group is running the hotel. We would like to expand our breakfast area some day. We'll continue to work on plans to do so. We do have a large spread of food, but I know that the size of our breakfast room makes it difficult to see all of our options. While we do offer hard-boiled eggs everyday, we do change up our hot items between eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. And then we offer a variety of yogurts, hot and cold cereals, ready-to-make Belgian waffles, a variety of juices, teas, and coffees, a variety of breads, whole and cut fruit, coffee cake, and more! We are updating our alarm clocks on a regular basis to the newest technology. I apologize that you didn't care of the existing docking stations that do still work for any phone out there, but not with bluetooth technology. Thank you again for your review and stay. The Business Vacation

Pros: I liked the fact that there is so many different places and things to do...like the pool stayed open 24/7 and the staff is just outstanding.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is if I could go back next week and stay another week with my wife.
Location: Just site seeing was good, but there is so much to do like going to the different restaurants, swimming and even riding bikes was a thing to do.
I've had a pleasant experience at the cherry tree inn, because I was first scheduled for a one day stay that turned out to be a four day stay, only because I was so comfortable, and I spoke to my supervisor and explained how nice this hotel is that he granted my stay for four more days. I was happy with the view of the water, and just the cleanliness of the hotel. I didn't want to be anywhere else. I even drove over 352 mile around trip to help extend my stay and it was worth every minute. Very Nice Hotel Highly Recommended.

Nice hotel!

Pros: Wonderful staff, clean, well maintained facility
Cons: Liked it just the way it was.
I really enjoyed our stay even though we only were there for one night. The hotel was beautiful, well-kept, and clean. The beds were comfy and the room was quiet. Staff were very warm and welcoming - made you feel very much at home. Cookies, fruit, coffees and teas were there waiting when you arrived. I appreciated that they recognized my birthday. The complementary breakfast was really nice and the nice staff member in that area did a great job keeping supplies stocked, food available and the area organized and clean.There is a shuttle to run you to the downtown area and the airport. The beach was clean, groomed and pretty. The view from our room was great. I enjoyed the little wildlife area on the beach and the sign about how they were taking care of that protected area. In fact the next morning there was a staff member out there going through the area making sure it was all picked up and clean and safe for creatures.

Great Location Nice Staff

Cons: The in room coffee makers
Location: Great location. easy to find your way back. close to downtown and less than an hour away from Sleeping Bear Dunes and Fish Town in Leland.
Check in was quick and friendly. The room was as advertised. When we encountered any of the staff in the elevator or halls they all had a cheerful greeting.

Close to the beach

Opening the door to the beach was the best part hearing the crashing waves ...this hotel is clean and looks amazing from the outside but needs painting on the inside The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows Did not use the pool or jacuzzi Breakfast buffet was closing when we got down there but seemed typical continental breakfast

Thank you for your stay! I'm glad you loved those waves crashing on the beach. It's wonderful! I'm sorry that you felt the beds and pillows in your room were uncomfortable. We try to offer pillows and mattresses everyone will enjoy, but we also know everyone's needs are different. We generally get really great responses on the mattresses and pillows (sold over 20 pillows this week along to guest who wanted them for home), but I'm really sorry that they just didn't work for you. We are also planning renovations this winter to freshen up wall and floor coverings for our on-water rooms in our main building. All of our luxury suites and non bay view rooms have been remodeled. Great value, loved that they have an indoor and outdoor pool. Shuttle service is a nice bonus.
