The screens in the screened porch needed repair and there were spider webs in the upper corners of the screened porch. The garbage was out side in a wooden box and had not been picked up from the previous tenants. That night a bear got into the garbage and tore the top off of the box. There was garbage everywhere, which I cleaned up so my dog would not get into it. This all could have been avoided if the garbage had been picked up before we arrived. This small cabin was perfect, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Reading a book on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee was my favorite part. It is a quiet place in the woods but close to many small and quaint towns to visit in Vermont. The Newfane Store a few miles down the road was a great place to grab a coffee and meal. I also really appreciate that I could bring my dog. Many thanks for a warm and cozy stay. ##### Crystal T. Nice and peaceful get away in a remote cabin with my wife and both of the dogs! They provided dog toys and a bed for our pups with additional treats, they were very happy about this!
