« What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

« Propreté de l'hôtel laisse beaucoup à désirer. Les lieux public laissé sans nettoyage depuis longtemps. Beaucoup de moustique le soir et ils font des amoncellement sous les lumières extérieures laissé allumées la nuit et ne sont pas nettoyé le lendemain, ce qui rend les lieux impropres. Balcons et marches extérieur tachés et pas nettoyés. Les photos démontrent que nous sommes sur un vignoble mais en fait ce ne sont que quelques plans qui ont été plantés pour donner l'effet mais ce n'est pas...

« We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. We didn’t enjoy this as much as Martha’s purely as...

« the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again »
