The staff was very helpful, polite and professional. What a great location, the parking and breakfast was good. The room was well kept and I was very happy with it. I would absolutely recommend those visiting this area to consider staying here as it is also very charming. I also enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise, it was great place to see it.

We absolutely loved the stay. The staff was lovely, particularly Nerea at the front desk. The room was spacious, lovely and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding. Perfect location for seeing the old city. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a mansion converted and decorated beautifully with antique furniture, chandeliers and has a lovely private courtyard terrace. The hotel is next to the church in town and surrounded by the terraced hills of the Douro region. I could see the hills from my bed, perfect to wake up to. And they serve a typical Portuguese breakfast of fruits, breads, jams, meat and cheese. The hoteliers were very helpful and kind to let me check in early, since my train arrived at 1pm. It was excellent...

The hotel didn't know we were coming they could find our reservation. Finally found our reservation. However, the hotel wasn't fully booked, so they gave use a room, however, it wasn't the room I booked or paid for. We booked the hot tube room and just got a regular room. It was nice but not what I booked or paid for. Nice place and people were nice.
