Smelly and dirty room
The hotel had a very bad odder throughout the building, the room had a very strong smell of smoke even though it was a smoke free building. The front desk clerk noted on our file that there was a smell. The room was dirty and the floor was sticky in some areas, we did not take our shoes off until we went to bed. The staff was friendly but we asked to have a wake up call and a cab these were not done and the morning front desk clerk said that there was no note of our request

Needs updating for sure mirrors are falling apart bathrooms are dated with blue tile. Beds were not comfortable at all. Need new mattresses . Rooms were not as cool as expected. Flat screen TV. No fridge just a cooling fridge for drinks. Room was spotless as far as cleanliness. Staff was really really wonderful and helpful. Hotel is only 15 mins by car from Yorkdale Mall

Nice lobby, I think a good part of the hotel is rented out as apartments. Kids everywhere at all hours, My room was very outdated, did not feel comfortable at all. not the best of neighborhoods. Parking lot very dark, Side security door broken, had to walk around front of building to get in.

Horrible stay and I deserve a refund
This was a total rip off! It’s not even a full hotel, half of it is residential to low income families. Horrible condition, doors and frames rusted, very out of date, just run down and unkept.. The WiFi didn’t work, the desk told me it was just busy. My TV remote did not operate the TV. They also wouldn’t help me with early check in, I arrived at 6am, they wouldn’t accommodate me until 2 and there were rooms available, I saw them. Only good thing is that it was just overnight. Furthermore, I have been receiving emails from Hotels.com notifying me that I only need 1 stay for a free night and I’ve never received it. I believe it only showed a credit of 3 stays on this one. There needs to be a refund from this trip

The front desk staff were extremely rude to me. They accused me of smoking in my room when I didn’t. I felt embarrassed as they discussed the issue in front of several other guests. The staff had smirks on their face as if the were enjoying making me look like a liar. I will never go there again. I am still upset by my experience because I was treated like a joke. The owners need to rethink hiring insecure male staff that feel the need to power trip on female guests in order to entertain their co-workers.

$500 watch went missing from room post check out... barely made it down the road before going back for it and it was already too late she had “changed the sheets” which were obviously my sheets from the night before because they were quite creased. When I checked in I asked why the hotel seemed quite full and I was told by the staff it was full of refugees- children everywhere with nothing to do but run in circles. Not much of a breakfast, the wifi didn’t work, all of the exits were sealed in a way you had to enter and exit through the front door only. Mattresses were clearly very old and very worn. Pillows as well seemed to be quite past their prime. Management seemed unconcerned about my watch and absolutely made me feel like it was not left behind. After searching the room and the maids dirty linen cart the maid came and returned a pack of cigarettes that also happened to be mine neatly tied in a plastic bag in an effort to show me she was maticulous in the things she found and said that because the door was open maybe perhaps “anybody else” must have gone in the room and that was that. Management said there was nothing else to be done. I will most likely not ever use Expedia to recommend a hotel again based on this experience. Not even worth two stars....

The room I booked through Expedia was for a non smoking room with 2 queen sized beds. The room smelled like cigarettes and it was double sized beds. I called the front desk and the response I received was "You can contact Expedia for a refund and check out".

Cheap, but cheap
This hotel is cheaper than most in the area, which is why I chose it. The first room I was given had paint peeling off the ceiling, floor boards were stained, and one of the lamps didn't work. The people next door to me were screaming at one other and I could hear every word. When I asked the manager at the front desk to change rooms because I felt uncomfortable he was at first reluctant. Eventually I did change rooms and the second was more quiet and less damaged, but I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.

It was okay and convenient to the airport. Requested a 3am wakeup call one of the 5 nights I was there. Never received the call. It definitely needs to be renonvated, but I was out of the room most of the day and part of the evening.

I just need a place to rest my head and answer some emails. I wasn't expecting much from a 2 star rating. Guys I would not even rate this as 0.25 stars. I am not a picky person by no means. I understand some uncleanliness and older décor. I have been in hotels for over 30 years and I have never experiences such a place as this. Their photos of the rooms are complete lies. The furniture has chips and dings all over it. The carpets are almost worn down to nothing. Holes in the walls have been patched as a quick fix. It doesn't look like the room has had anything updated in 30 years. The ceiling titles are water damaged and moldy. It was absolutely disgusting. The room and hallways reeked of marijuana. There was a brick holding open the back door so there was no safety. There internet signal was horrible so I couldn't get online. In order for me to get a refund through expedia, they had to call the hotel over 5 times and each time they said their manager wasn't in and never returned a call. I left within 10 minutes of being there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. In fact I think it is time to demolish this place. Absolute dump

Worst hotel in Toronto
Booked two nights at the hotel and it was awful, ended up only staying one night and then headed home and the front desk refused to refund me the one night as I paid in full prior to checking in. Room was disgusting and old and was very dirty, there was mold all over the bathroom and the rooms were loud. Will never stay at again. What a waste of money.

This hotel requires renovation.
It is a good location and has great parking however the entire hotel needs a revamp including renovation for the rooms, public spaces and the lobby. The breakfast buffet was not clean and had only a few items (none of which looked edible), We went to McDonalds instead. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends, colleagues and especially hope new comers to Canada do not stay here by mistake. It seems a bit "sketchy". Definitely a place to lock your door and watch your items. The hallway noise was constant with people yelling and laughing including the hotel staff. The low price should have tipped me off. I was travelling in from India where even the low cost hotels are lovely and forgot how north american bad hotels are seriously quite bad. This is a bad north american hotel.

Aweful unsafe and rundown From start to finish. Rattly old dirty windows. No screen in windows. Can see outside all around a/c unit in the wall. No table. No chairs. Interenet lags and cuts out. Carpet old and dirty. Shower curtain was older that my kids combined. Mold under toilet. Black out curtains all ripped...... just dont go there

Disappointed.
Room not very clean. Hairs in the bathroom. Hair dryer not working. Empty bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Curtain was off the rod on one side. Carpet was durty. Furniture in the room was out of place. Knobs missing on some of the furniture drawers. I had a friend visiting from out of town and because this was closer to highways 401 and 400 I though would be a great location for us to meet while in Toronto. Disappointed

I booked this hotel with Parksleephotels and got a great price for one nights hotel stay at the end of our trip and 10 days parking. I also booked a night at the beginning of our trip with Expedia.ca that was not much less than the price with Parksleephotels, go figure! The night we arrived was a Sat night and it was party time next door to our room. I was not impressed as we had an early flight. When we came back from our trip it was a Wed night and much quieter. The place is clean and a good value but not in the best area. I’m not sure I would stay here again.

Pretty old room but clean, and wifi is super poor and weak and I ended up having to use up my data to go online and get the work done. The sounds insulation was super poor that I can even hear what people from the other room said. And even it’s 10pm, people still making noise including the corridor. Not a great environment if you want to relax.

Hotel is very old and worn down! The linens and bathroom over all were clean and tidy but the hotel overall is old and worn down. We did not stay and we did not take off our shoes!

HORRIBLE Experience
The only reason we booked this hotel was because of the "deal" they had for long term parking. When we arrived, the hotel was in a horrible area and upon checking in we found that they would not honor the parking rate we were quoted. Expedia was quick to take care of this problem for us, and did refund the difference promptly; however, our "horrible experience" didn't end there. When we got to our room, it was VERY dated, thread bare carpets, old furniture and a questionable bathroom. In fact, I refused to shower the next morning due to the condition of the shower. When we went to get our shuttle, we found out that the shuttle had been in an accident the night before. The hotel did accommodate us with a taxi to the airport at their cost, which was great. On arrival back to Canada, we called the airport for the return shuttle. They told us it would take maximum 20 - 25 minutes to pick us up. After three phone calls, we were finally picked up 50 minutes later. The driver then informed us that it was good that we called as he was unaware that he was to pick us up! The shuttle was in very poor condition, not clean, and sounding like it was going to fall apart at any time. We were happy to get back to our vehicle and get home. (Even though we had to shovel through snow banks to get the vehicle out) I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone... it was an awful experience!!

The glass front doors were filthy, the hotel lobby was tattered, worn, and dirty. Everything had seen better days. Staff was kind though and as the elevator was broken, the security guard carried up my luggage. Room itself was clean and warm and bed was nice. Carpet ratty.
