Very poor communication from Pelicanstay
I did not stay in this place, as I tried to contact them so many times but wasn't able to reach them. Not until on the morning I arrived Mississauga and they told me that my reservation didn't go through. This apartment is very very poor in communication. Will never stay in this place.

The instructions indicated there will be an envelope left for me with my name on it upon arrival I found an envelope but no name on it no instructions as to where to go or where to park my car at since it was pouring with rain I put the key in the envelope and put it back in the mailbox found some other place to stay phone numbers they gave me both of them did not work not happy at all

Completely disappointed with my stay. Unit was dirty , lots of damage, parking fob not working. I have reported this to Expedia right after check in, but there was no response. Hopefully someone will get back to me this time. Still waiting for security deposit refund that was charged with unit . Thomas

From start to finish the worst stay I have ever experienced ! your staff sent me to the wrong condominium did not repair the TV set did not return my calls for service and sent me to the wrong suite to drop the keys ..All in all very frustrating and disappointing experience ,also construction was going on inside and outside of the building and many common amenities in the building did not work !

cons: location, close to square one, highways, and good parking. pros: forget the pictures, it is completely different, curtins are broken and bed room ( no problem if can sleep in light), mattress awful, one feel all the springs, it is the cheapest ever seen. Pillows stinks, smelly and very old and thin. In short sleep is painfull mission. They do not put enough soap or toiletry, but they leave toothpaste and brush. In short what you see in the add is not what you will get, it is completely different unite prepare yourself to that. Also, the person in the site to check in is mostly inpatient and no curtesy or some communication skills.to come again; well it depends on your budget, if you are welling to spend a little more do not go there.

The property did not look like it did in the advertising pictures, it did not come equipped with enough towels, we said we had 6 people staying in the unit and they gave us 4 bath towels, no hand or face towels. No dish towels. there was not even enough toilet paper. The contact phone number was a United States number, so it was very hard to get in touch with anyone

Definitely not luxury
The apartment is beat up, none of the interior doors close, including a bathroom door that wasn’t even attached to the door frame. The unit had a bad smell, the fridge was even worse. The description says cable tv included but no the tv has a roku box without subscriptions. The WiFi does work. The staff tried to help as much as they could, so credit goes to the staff.

I would never ever book it from them. So much trouble to get the keys. No service no contact person for the towels etc etc. Horrible Horrible choice I made. Air Bnb much better choice. Waste of my money.

did not advertise as rental property. Apartment dirty and not well maintained. Very confusing instructions on where to pick up keys, where to park, and how to find apartment in 46 story building. 2 televisions did not work. Refrigerator freezer caked with ice and very difficult to open door.

I felt scammed throughout my entire experience. The listing for this place looks like it is a hotel or complex. It's not. This is just a company that manages rental properties, and they do it poorly. Weeks after booking, they randomly charged me $250. When I called, I was told it was a security deposit and would be returned to me. There was absolutely no mention of a security deposit on the site and it still has not been refunded back to me. The apartment was not in good condition nor was it cleaned very well. furniture was falling apart, walls and counters had holes and dings everywhere, one sink didn't work, and the balcony had holes and cracks, was in terrible shape and didn't seem safe. It was nearly impossible to find the designated parking spot and the apartment itself, and no one was on site to help. I have stayed in plenty of rental properties before, but I will absolutely never book through PelicanStay again. I'm thankful this was a short trip and we were not in the apartment for long.

Would rethink staying in a pelican property
I had to call at least 3 times to ask questions. I should have been told at 3pm Only was checking to talk with someone live. There were no face clothes dish towels or tissues offered. And with only 1 key it was difficult to go to the pool.

The property itself was very nice, however the suite i was in had alot of damage to the walls and the doors were TERRIBLE to open and close. When I arrived the were only 2 towels and the suite was listed to sleep 6. I called 5x and 7 hours later they brought us ONLY large towels so we had NO face towels or hand towels, AT ALL! Everytime I called(about ANYTHING) I was told that the onsite supervisor would look into and get to me right away... which NEVER happened. The second day we were there, the key fob that gives you access to the building itself STOPPED WORKING so we got LOCKED OUT COMPLETELY! Again, I was told the onsite supervisor would take care if it right away, which they did not! It took me waiting 40 minutes for another car to enter the garage. Once they did, we had to hit the emergency call buttons to get assistance from the onsite security, JUST TO GET IN which i thank God for bc if it wouldn't have been for them, my ENTIRE STAY WOULD HAVE BEEN UNSPEAKABLY HORRIBLE!

Wrost Stay Ever
Area was good but stay was horrible. Lots of things were broken including main door. it wasn't closing properly. Wasn't told about parking fees $10 per night per car. also there were two bathroom but one didn't have curtains so one bathroom was useless. I had called Pelican to come fix the main door and no one showed up to fix it or even came to look. Wooden floor was completely damaged and unsafe to walk on. Very Horrible place. I was told room will be ready by 3PM, I didn't get the room key until 6:30. WIFI Wasn't working.

Great view. Secure property with 24 hr people, and a key fob at doors. Our suite was large, lots of room to move around. Our suite needed a little upkeep. Tighten or replace screws. One thermostat missing. Tv didn't work, but one call fixed the tv. Just little things

What we like the most about this property are the location, the convenience of all facilities surrounding the condo (grocery stores for examples T&T is 3min away, Food Basic is 10min away and 24hr Metro is 7 min away from the condo, drug store is 2 blocks away, a huge mall is right across the road, ESSO gas station is 3 blocks from the condo and the condo is surrounded by many great different ethic restaurants). Here are a few things we came across being here for a week and it is a turn off being in the building. The residents in this building are very unwelcoming towards pets, the set up of the entrances that a resident are allowed to use taking your dog(s) out is ridiculously a nuisance for a resident trying to get back into the building. Security personnels are very helpful and polite, just the residents, they definitely made us felt you are not welcome in the building with a Labrador. Security told us the residents don't like dogs so it is best to use the side entrance to avoid residents giving you the vibes. The unit we were in is nicely setup, spacious, and very modern. The 3 bedrooms each has nice queen size bed and roommy. It was a pleasant surprise to see washer and dryer in the unit. The only drawbacks we had was internet shut off periodically. Their supporting team are very thorough with communication and instructions. That is a bonus. I definitely like staying at this location when we are in town for our job a week at a time. They do deserve my 5 stars rating

First of all. Thanks to hotel.com for there care and seriousness in taking the review results which I have shared with many friends. It was expected to have someone to check us in , unfortunately, nobody was there. I called them and a girl answered me trying to guide me to the place where I can find the keys. It was very rainy , cold weather and windy. Barley could hear here voice. It was very unpleasant check in. Anyway o got the keys then I need to know where is the parking lot. I wasn’t easy too and I found my place was taken by someone else. I struggled with the security to get an access to the visitor parking. Anyway , we checked in but it was night mare to find hair on the beds.whcih means the unit was not cleaned professionally.on The day two the house keeping called me back and she said she cleaned the unit. And the supervisor said he changed the curtains of the balcony. Now at night time we loosed the internet again because there was no internet in the apartment on day one. Supposed the supervisor fixed it. I called the supervisor he said he just tightened the internet cable. I tried to fix it but it didn’t work. When I tried to call the supervisor again he closed his phone. Another issue I didn’t like was they gave me only one key access. I have to go to work at 6 am in the morning. And my family was moving in and out. So I have to leave the keys with them. But when I come back in the evening I ah ego wait for few minutes for anybody to come to open the door

Spacious space in a Convenient Place
The apt was more than spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen had most of what you needed. The bldg amenities more than impressed me and the location was perfect! The management company is not very professional or friendly, so I likely won't rent with them again, but I did like the apt.

The View

The location is perfect next to Square One, the suite was quite large with a great view of the city. The staff was very helpful, special thanks to Nelia she helped me to upgrade my suite and got my TV cable working promptly.

Unfortunately, while Pelican advertises this as an Executive Suite, it is far from the expectation such a description evokes. Check-in was delayed for more than 1 hour, even though advance notice of arrival was given (the dining room table was being replaced). While the building and location was great and the suite very spacious, it was in severe need of a renovation as the appliances were outdated and the stove did not function, cabinets and countertops were peeling, and the shower head in the main washroom did not function. While there was an effort to paint at some point, the overpainting of the walls onto the crown moulding and base boards further contributed to the run-down appearance of the suite. Of greatest concern was the cleanliness, with grime on doors around door handles and the bottom of the doors, sticky and dirty floors, and a bad odour in the kitchen and in the cupboards. The beds were not very comfortable and the frames were noisy, and the placement of plastic flowers and plastic plants throughout the suite added to the lack of appeal. The view from the balcony was amazing and the 4K television, streaming service and internet access was top notch. The agent for the suite also assisted as best she could and was very friendly. She even replaced the stove and dishwasher, although the dishwasher was not actually installed so could not be used. This suite has a lot of promise, although a considerable investment into this property needs to be made
