A spacious cabin with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Charcoal Park Grill just outside is perfect for cooking and small camp fires are allowed in the driveway for marsh mellow toasting and story telling. There is normally plenty of deadwood about that can be gathered for a small fire. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and the sofa in the great room converts into a second queen size bed. There is also plenty of room for kids to bunk out on the floor or on the covered porch. The cabin was adorable, very quiet with the sound of the nearby river. The cabin was very clean, and we were thankful not to be tasked with cleaning it ourselves when we left. The fall leaves were gorgeous. Our host provided every amenity we could've needed. I will say for future guests to just take caution when arriving and the road up to the cabin, and the driveway are a tad steep and unpaved. Despite that, we arrive aftwr dark and didnt have any significant issues. I drive a rinky dink corolla and did fine, but those with cars that are low to the ground may have trouble. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer available so we had fresh clothes to wear. We did get our car stuck but the housekeepers responded immediately and were able to drive it out for us. Comfortable beds and great deck. Please heed the owners suggestion of checking out the driveway. We had 4 wheel drive and cameras on our Expedition...so we had no problems. One thing to be aware of, is the last part of the driveway is very steep with loose gravel. Had we been informed, we could have brought movies but no tv for the weekend made for long, quiet evenings. Light didn’t work over washer/dryer and there were dead bugs along the baseboards in the twin bedroom. Driveway to cabin is extremely steep with little room to maneuver a vehicle. Added to this, it rained and made it made difficult to manage the driveway; it really needed paving between the 2 cabins.
