Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and only negative I would have to say is the fact that I couldn't get a non-smoking room and the gentleman at the front desk told me even though it is a smoking room there isn't a bad smell. Well, he was wrong. But thankfully during my stay the temp outside was nice and cool so having the door open at night got that smell out but couldn't get the A/C to work but I guess that really didn't matter. Also, some variety for breakfast changes would have also been nice. Other than that, plenty of great areas to eat next to the hotel! Can't go wrong with McDonalds if someone wants to play it safe and most importantly there is a metro station right next to you which I highly recommend taking, it cheap and best way to get around Tokyo. Navigating at the beginning may seem a little confusing but once you get it trust me its easy, affective and saves you a lot of money.

Good location beside the JR station. Lots of dining options around the hotel area. No need to worry for dinner after the long day shopping. Staff are nice and attentive. Saw a microwave at the lobby but if there is one at least on each floor, it would be perfect.

Convenience to use the train since the train station is right next to the hotel. The hotel breakfast is traditional Japanese breakfast and seemed to be the same every day. Does not offer continental breakfast. The front desk staff is not well versed in English.

Property is on a great location 2 minutes walk from ryogoku train station , staff is very friendly, Room was clean daily with clean towels . Close to supermarket and stores, price is well worth, travel with my 16 year old daughter and was a great experience. Will definitely recommend it You can hear the train but will not take the sleep away .

The hotel is very lovely and just across the street from the metro. The staff brought up our bags after early check-in. Our only issue was the noise at night from the train as our room faced the metro.

very convenient location, just 10 steps away from Ryogoku station. Ryogoku is also an accessible area to other nearby cities - ueno, shinjuku, shibuya. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable
Hotel staff were very kind and were able to help us in English. Hotel and our room were very clean and comfortable. Microwave is out in the hallway and shared with the floor, but it was clean and I never saw anyone else use it. Location is very convenient and right across the street from the JR station. There are nice restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

The coffee shop provides very good coffee & fresh baked goods which they will warm up for you. We had breakfast everyday there during our stay. We also found the dining options were the best around the hotel area too. We took the train everywhere but try not to go during rush hours.

Not clean but location location
Great location ,staff ,has a $$$ cafe attached , next to food street and Jr train STN but dusty room with empty balcony, no air conditioning,so it was stifling hot but patio sliding doors, quite old but classic old school ,great customer welcome ..only thing was house keeping in all public areas is questionable.elevator panel was disgusting .

Love the hotel’s easy access to the train station. Just beside the hotel. After spending time outside for a long time, the hotel’s location next to the train station is so convenient. Also there are family mart and 7-eleven nearby. Sumo museum is also nearby. Although room is a bit small and tight but it is ok for the 2 of us in the room.
