"A lovely B&B! The owners, Bob and Liz, are lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had an enormous bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we will return. "

"This is a fabulous small and unique boutique hotel in a great location and setting. The plane tree in the square is magnificent. The Cathedral and other main attractions are close, the whole area very walkable. The basement lounge and bar is very well designed, relaxing and a great asset. Great staff!"

Wonderful stay at Widbrook Barns!

"My husband, daughter and I had the most amazing time at Widbrook Barns! Extraordinary hospitality was experienced (thank you, Dick and”J”), and the breakfasts were the BEST we enjoyed during a three-week trip across Europe! Accommodations were very comfortable and close to public transport (if you’re traveling to Bath, etc). We enjoyed walking down the canal into Bradford for evening meals. It’s a truly special place. We will be back! Sincerely, Carol, Vince and Amy"

"I stayed here as it was close to where I was going to. Our Greek receptionist was lovely as were all the staff which makes a hotel special. Fans in the room made the warm temperature bearable. The view over the valley were amazing."

A charming Grade II listed former Chapel in a tucked away peaceful location

Lovely

"Great place. It had everything we needed in the cottage. Very clean. Much more spa than we thought. Large bedrooms especially the double one. The only drawback was the big hill down to the village. Very steep, especially after a few drinks. "

Country Cottage Fireplace Parking Sleeps 7 Nr Bath set in a Country House Estate

Charming cottage in a great location

"Grandby Cottage was charming, the main house magnificant and the grounds were beautiful. The wisteria was in full bloom. I felt like I was taken back in time, expecting a carriage to pull up at any moment.Amanda is a great host and answered all our questions. Our itinerary the day after we arrived was:Day 1 -- Bath. We did the free walking tour (fantastic) and toured the Roman baths.Day 2 -- Stonehenge (We walked instead of taking the bus, which was so much better.) Avebury (one pub in town) and Castle Combe (dinner)Day 3 -- Glastonbury and Wells. I highly recommend going to the evensong at the Wells cathedral. A Sainsbury's was just down the road from the cottage, which was great. Bath wasn't a quick drive -- or maybe we just got twisted around a lot -- so we didn't buzz in for dinner after a day out as we thought we would.But we found plenty of restaurants wherever we went, including Bradford on Avon. "

"We’ve had amazing time here. The staff have been amazing throughout, kind and patient. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with Bramley products. The food is delicious. They have a number of green spaces to walk through that, with good weather, provides a lovely alternative to the indoor spaces. The area is very quiet which adds to the relaxing environment. We visited during term time, so it may be different in the school holidays. We hope to visit again soon. "
