Follow the hidden path from the backyard and a private beach paradise is only 150 meters away! Our 4 bedroom oasis is newly-renovated and spacious - perfect for couples, families or small groups. Enjoy the hiking and biking trails, or just relax on one of the best beaches in Ontario! Only 1.5 hours from the GTA. 10 mins to Awenda Prov. Park, 15 minutes to Balm Beach, 20 minutes to Midland restaurants and shopping, 30 minutes to Elmvale Jungle Zoo. A fully-renovated, 4 season, open-concept, 2-storey home. The main level welcomes you into a large, open-concept space that includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living areas. 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath, with bath tub, are located down the hall on the main level. The fully-outfitted kitchen includes an electric stove, full-size fridge, drip coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender and all necessities to prepare a gourmet meal, including pots and pans, spatulas, spices and oil. Long counters and a large waterfall island provide ample space for food preparation, cooking and baking. Enjoy your beautiful meals at the large stylish harvest table indoors or the dining set outside. All dishware, silverware and glassware is provided for your convenience. If you prefer your meals cooked outdoors, a gaz BBQ is available on the patio adjacent to the kitchen. Sit back and relax after your meals in the living area, enjoying a delightful fire in the gaz fireplace or watching a show on the available smart TV. If you're up for some fun, make your way down to the recreation room on the lower level, where you will find a full-sized air hockey and Foosball tables and basketball arcade game. A projector is also available to screen a movie above the electric fireplace, with surround sound, creating the perfect ambiance for a movie night! Les chambres très confortables aussi. Par contre l'extérieur est très décevant. Tout est désuet, moisi et sale (voir photos). Nous ne nous sommes jamais installé dehors pour dîner ou souper. Même pas pour prendre un café, puisque que les installations sont trop délabrées. Le BBQ très mal nettoyé voire même rouillé. Il y a un revêtement sur la terrasse d'en avant et nous l'avons senti déchiré en mettant le pied à notre arrivée lorsque nous rentions les bagages, pour constater que c'est probablement pourri partout en dessous du revêtement. En contre partie, le chemin jusqu'à la plage est magnifique et la plage de rêve ! J'aurais aimé louer en sachant dans quel etat était l'extérieur car pour nous c'est très important, puisque nous aimons passer notre temps à l'extérieur l'été. Les photos qui figurent sur le site de location datent de la construction, ou tout a l'air beau, fraichement peint et en super état, hors il n'en est pas. Les propriétaires étaient très facile à rejoindre et très réactifs, cela facilite le séjour. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Gay S. 2 sept. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Our family very much enjoyed our recent week in this lovely cottage - 4 adults and 3 children ages 4 to 8\. The home is very spacious, bedrooms all a very good size, two bathrooms and washer/dryer all great for our family, kitchen and dining area large, bright and well equipped. The outside play equipment was very well used by our grandkids and the downstairs Games Room was a huge hit for kids and adults alike! Also very much enjoyed the wide selection of board games and puzzles provided. There was a fire ban when we were there so didn’t get to use the fire pit unfortunately. The beach was a short 3 or so minute walk away. Beach itself very wide and sandy (great for long walks and the kids playing) but water shoes definitely needed in the water. Very shallow even out quite a ways - kids enjoyed it but tricky for actual swimming. Cottage was very close to lots of activities from tennis, golf, hiking, shopping in either Midland or Penetanguishene - even close to the Elmvale Zoo. All in all, a great, bright, spacious, clean, very comfortable and well equipped cottage for us all to enjoy! Lots to do inside and outside the house, and a beautiful, quiet beach is only a short walk away. Do be sure to watch the kids carefully on the trail to the beach as there is a lot of poison ivy beside the trail. ##### Linda C. Our family had a wonderful week at this lovely, spacious cottage. The kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked. The kids really enjoyed the games room in the basement and the beach was great. Really appreciated all of the beach toys and gear. Hosts were responsive and wonderful to deal with. Georgian Bay was only a hop, skip and jump away. Our vacation was in the winter, I imagine the summer months would be even better. ##### Luba T. It was relaxing and homey with all the amenities needed for a great stay. We walked the path to the beach and enjoying a peaceful sunset. We are looking forward to doing it again next year. Great hosts saved me as I had left my suitcase on the front deck. Max picked it up and kept it safe until I returned for it. We will consider coming back next year. ##### Lori K. Séjour de 1 nuit en octobre 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Sophia D. 19 sept. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### The perfect weekend getaway💖 I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage last weekend and I absolutely fell in love 😍 You can tell that the hosts really put in the work to make sure that the cottage has everything a person could need during their stay. The cottage itself was super spacious, clean and had a pretty, modern design. I was especially impressed by how spacious and functional the kitchen was. Outside there’s an adorable fire-pit - perfect for making s’mores and hanging out. But my favourite part had to be the private beach that’s only a 3 min walk from the house - went for a night stroll and fell in love with the cool breeze and serene view. Went swimming during the day and fell in love with the crystal clear water. Happy I didn’t forget my water shoes though! 😅 It’s a bit rocky, but not an issue at all if you have water shoes on 😊 Overall super impressed by this gem of a cottage and beyond happy with my stay🤩 ##### Sophia D.
