The best time to visit Tianeti is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these periods, you'll experience mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty and historical sites around Tianeti without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The countryside is particularly beautiful in spring with blooming flora and in autumn with changing leaf colours.

For those interested in hiking or exploring the surrounding mountains and valleys, these months offer the most comfortable conditions. The trails are generally dry, and the visibility is excellent, allowing for stunning views of the Caucasus foothills. It's a great time for travellers who appreciate scenic drives and gentle walks.

While summer (July and August) can also be pleasant, it can get quite warm, sometimes reaching over 30°C, which might be less comfortable for extended outdoor activities.
