"What a beautiful property! Loved everything about it! The amenities were gorgeous and the staff was helpful and friendly. “Mr Happy” at the pool was always glad to see us and ready to get us anything we needed. The beach front property was heaven! The breakfast that was part of our package was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely be back"

"Pros: our room had a full kitchen & the property provided complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas & daily fresh beach towels plus kayaks we could use. Located right in the center of Grace bay there’s tons of shopping & restaurants in walking distance. Staff was amazing, they text daily to see if we needed anything and were quick to bring it to us. Housekeeping was wonderful, always kept our room clean Cons: it’s not a luxury property but it’s exactly enough. Located a block off the beach it’s a 3 minute walk or parking available right at the beach access if you want to drive over. Your view is only construction & rooftops but the comfort of the room outweighed any cons"

"Our third time here, so it's a winner in our book. Travel tip: you have to request washcloths now (wth). Housekeeping took eight hours to send up the wash clothes, so I couldn't take a shower right away like I wanted. Guests should be offered the cloths at check-in. There was hair all on the doors and walls opposite the mirror in the bathroom. I guess from the previous guests blow drying their hair. That was definitely icky to see. Everything else was lovely. They improved the Pelican restaurant decor and seating. The grits were excellent, greatly improved since 3 years ago when we were last here but the pancakes are still flat and rubbery. They could just get a box of Krusteaz or Aunt Jemima (Pearl Milling) and do better then that. They only offer instant decaf coffee which is an insulting downgrade from brewed pon request but oh well. The Wednesday bbq could be great if they knew how to make proper jerk chicken and jerk pork on the grill. It was very wet with gravy (like curry goat) so not authentic Jamaican style but the spice level was definitely authentic. Da Conch Shack has more authentic Jamaican style jerk chicken. The fried shrimp and fish was good but tgey should always serve it with bread options because of the tiny bones. Salad bar was excellent, especially the conch salad and curry cole slaw. You only get one towel per person on the beach which is a bit stingy but sometimes they squeezed out a third towel for us. 8/10"

"The hotel is beautiful. But everything is VERY VERY expensive !!! Family of four breakfast at the hotel was 200 dollars! and one drink is 25 dollars. So definitely explore outside the hotel early. It is located centrally!"

"The room and also the hotel premises were super clean and pristine! I absolutely love, love that! We had breakfast at the Daily Market everyday, more than enough food and so good. Ate a few days for lunch and it was good. If you’re looking for a resort that provides superb customer service and attention to detail, this is it! There’s a short walk to the beach where you can get chairs and umbrellas for a small daily fee. Less crowded beach area and very calm and clear water. We can’t wait to return to Ellipse Resort next year and highly recommend it for your stay! Thank you so much to the staff at Ellipse Resort for making our trip AMAZING!"

"What an excellent resort!!! The staff are amazing (to mentione a few, Nathalie, Cadet, Pedro, Shameka, Yatiana or Tayiana were highlights of excellent staff) but I can’t give enough credit and thank you for all staff that made us feel welcome and at home. The resort is clean and in an area that offers tranquility while also being accessible to the entire island. The food was great and so were the drinks. This resort may be small, but it certainly offers the benefits of it not feeling overcrowded to the point of not being able to find a lounge chair at the beach or pool! If you are truly looking for a relaxing and calm getaway Blue Haven is your spot!"
