"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

"We loved staying here. The owner was incredibly kind and let us return after our check out time to shower. The wifi unfortunately was not working during our stay but the rooms were clean and ready for us when we stayed. The beds were comfy, and having the option of a ceiling fan or an aircon was helpful to keep cool. "It's the grounds that made me fall in love with this place. Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. Moved rooms next day and the room was fine, just why we weren't allocated this on the first night as the hotel was empty. "So overall this hotel was an excellent option. My room had a great view, especially at night with the city lights against the mountainsides. The lock on the door, although it did lock, was a bit difficult and frustrating. However, Kandy City stay does get high marks for staff and their local tours. The hotel’s (mainly elephant park) was excellent and very economical. "
