Fields at Low Thornton Rust Moor The small medieval village fields with geese and grazing for horses and donkeys merge as the elevation rises into more open fell, predominantly used for sheep. The land rises gently before the sudden rise to the heights of Addlebrough, lying 2 kilometres SSW.

Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business.
