I ventured further south of the Island, I've decided to check out Emporeio. It's a village that has the remains of a Kasteli or Castle Fortress during the Byzantine era. I had a lot of fun getting lost in the winding alleys which is entangling most of the time similar to the paths in Venice. I would not be surprised,because it was during the Venetian Occupation that this village flourished. Emporio in Greek means trade.
