Another beautiful beach of Crete
#beach
Beautiful Preveli Beach is located at the edge of Kourtaliotikos Gorge near Plakias at the South Coast of Crete, Greece. We walked down the steep path from Preveli Monastery (which is also worth a visit ⛪️) with this magnificent view 🌴 The other way to reach the beach is by boat. You can walk into the palm grove on both sides of the river.
#green
The famous 25 lion-head "Kefalovrissi" or fountain heads, the Venetian drinkwater supply for the town of Spili in the prefecture of Rethymno, Crete. The exact source of this very pure water is still unknown...
The access to Preveli Beach is best from the west (near Preveli Monastery), where you can hike down to the beach. The obvious shot I guess, is this rock in the shape of a heart.
There are a lot of possibilities for composition, the high tides in these day forced me to shoot straight from an upper position.
