#### Switch between the hot and warm pools and enjoy the purported health benefits in these natural thermal waters beside a pebbly beach with a bar.

Therma Beach consists of a pebbled strand and an extraordinary natural pool of warm water just off the southern coast of Kos. A rock pool mixes the thermal waters with the cooler seawater, creating an idyllic bathing temperature. Visit Therma Beach to experience pockets of thermal basins that vary in warmth.

Start at the back-left pool for mild water and gradually move through the hotter pools. It is thought the waters contain some healing properties that are beneficial for body and mind. Relax with your friends or family in these natural baths, enjoying the picturesque views of the Kos coastline and the sea around you.

If you’re feeling too hot, climb out of the thermal pools and into the sea for refreshingly cooler temperatures. Even here, occasional jets of hot water escape from the hot pools and mix with the cool seawater.

Take of these otherworldly steamy pools. Stay into the evening, when the warm water offers a wonderful contrast to the dropping external temperatures. You may notice a smell of sulfur here. Wear beach shoes to ensure you don’t slip or hurt yourself on the pointed rocks.

Back on the pebbly beach, rent a sunbed beneath a thatched umbrella. Enjoy a meal or drinks at the beach bar and look closely at the surrounding cliffs to spot mountain goats grazing while balancing on narrow paths.

Therma Beach is a little west of Agios Fokas, in the southeastern part of the island of Kos. From the town of Kos, travel by car clockwise around the southeastern capes for 7 miles (12 kilometers) to get here in about 20 minutes. Park at the top of the cliff and walk down the path leading to the beach.

While you’re in this setting, see the nearby attractions of the White Church, the Agios Fokas Beach Club and the Big Blue Surf Center.

We spent an enjoyable week at this hotel and were very satisfied with our experience. The pools were lovely, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, making our stay comfortable. The dining options were impressive, with a great selection of meals that catered to various tastes. While the sea had some waves during our visit, it was still enjoyable for swimming and beach activities. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay here, beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly as soon as we arrived. Room had everything we needed with a nice balcony and cleaned everyday. Both pool areas were nice and quiet. Made me feel extra special on my birthday so thank you to all the staff. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love this place. Wonderful location and very beautiful. Visited in late October so it was very laid-back and quiet. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Nitsa at reception gave us some great advice for sightseeing in the area. Katrina in the dining room was very nice and provided extremely good service. Will definitely go back here again next time we’re in Kos.
