"Upon arrival the staff member told me that there wasn't any booking even when i showed him my phone with both confirmations from Expedia & the Hotel itself. We didn't get the room we booked. Shambles!!!!"

"Standard Premier Inn quality - nothing fancy but comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and full English or continental breakfast available at a reasonable price. Great for a one or two-night stay"

"We had to ask to move rooms, as there was a noisy fan (or similar) running outside the window. Room change was effected quickly and without any fuss"

"First room was appalling…. Usually every village hotel experience we have had has been first class and clean. Not the case with Bury unfortunately. We told staff and got another room which was better (club room) but still had some blood? Stain on the walls and windows were marked with hand marks but I was too embarrassed to complain again. The corridors, lifts and general areas were grubby. We have stayed at Hull, Chester, Edinburgh and this was by far a total letdown."

"We didnt see any shops, my only reason for one low score, is that we were in room 7 on Friday 20th March. When we went to the room the smell of Fresh paint was very strong. The young lady on reception moved us to another room. Which was perfect. "

"John and Chris were amazing hosts! We stayed for a week and had a great time! They took out our trash/recycling daily and let us borrow an umbrella when it was raining. They also had a detailed pamphlet of things to do/eat in the area. 10/10 would stay here again :)"
