Very nice room overlooking the canal. During the day / evening the room was perfect. (But at night the streets could be loud ... ) Loved its central location. Nitpick is no electric kettle (of course they didn't say there would be ... so this is more a suggestion of how to improve).

Dreadful!!!!
A very bad experience. Room poorly furnished and decoration had seen better days. Reminded us of hostel life. We decided to exit 1 day early and told our hosts to eliminate us from breakfast for 2 of the 3 days. They still charged us for all 3 days adding a supplement on day 1 of an additionak 80 Euros. This proved very poor value for money. We complained to reception, who would not listen to our issues and refused access to their management, further recusing to refund at least for the breakfasts we do have. There were other issues if cleanliness too. I will write formally to Hotels.com after leaving this critique

We had an attic room which required us to climb 3 narrow, twisting flights of stairs to get to. Once we got there, though, the room was quite large, clean, comfortable and quiet, with a good working air conditioner on a hot day. Just be careful to ask for a room on a lower floor if you have issues with stairs. The only other reason I have not give this hotel a top rating is that the breakfast was not as good as at other hotels, thought definitely good enough

Great location to explore Delft. Room was very tired and needs upgrade. Kitchen cooking utensils in poor shape or not included such as coffee maker. At times no hot water in the morning.

Really great service, friendly staff, excellent location in the center of town. We had a really big room on the 3rd floor with 2 levels and 4 beds. Nice comfy bed and good views out the window. Bathroom and room was a bit small, but for a couple was still really nice and cozy

We were three couples who stayed in an annex that included kitchenette for each apartment and a sitting area. It was perfect for our group. Breakfast was typical Dutch: coffee machine, fresh cheese and cold cuts, fresh breads. Be aware they have a short cancellation period.

Rooms are in different properties for this accommodation. We were able to book 3 couples in our own “house”, which was made up of single loft bed areas, sitting area on second floor, kitchenette and large bathroom on third floor. Worked out great for us because we had area in any unit to be able to congregate, play games, etc. Breakfast was “down the street” but it was good and staff was helpful and kind.

The staff at this property are terrible. The property is next to a college. The college kids party in streets all night. You can hear every step the upstairs neighbors take, ALL NIGHT! Staff would not give me a refund, even though they are fully aware of the college kids and upstairs neighbors. I still have not heard back from the manager who I had to email, that was 2.5 weeks ago. The Place is dirty and outdated.

It was superbly located close to the centre and convenient for everything. Perfectly comfortable but we had to take our recycling to a neighbouring bin. We also never quite managed to get shower gel, although plenty of body lotion was provided! But that was such a small matter and we loved our stay nevertheless.

Bad experience for me
Arrived a bit after 10pm at night after dinner so reception was already closed which was my fault - however I didn't realise the process if arriving after 10pm. I tried calling th reception number which was listed in case of emergency many times but no-one answered then finally looked at emails and found a separate email with the process. It didn't clearly specify that my room was in another building two roads down so I then spent 30min going up and down the narrow stairs of all the floors in the first building with my luggage. Some youngsters going up and down the stairs and felt a bit unsafe and dodgy but ok. After doing this twice, I sat at the dark reception and re-read all the emails realised it's in another building, walked there in the rain finally found my 'flat'. Very spacious but also very dated and the bathroom smelled of mould. Bed was ok comfortable but there was no drinkable water in the room and not sure the tap water was safe. I can't say it felt unclean but not my standard of clean either but maybe it was the old tiles and such. Breakfast in the morning was very basic only had coffee and scrambled egg. Breakfast staff were the only staff I saw and they were extra polite and smiley at least.

Beste gast , zeer spijtig dat u dat mailtje laat heeft gelezen, anders was dit voorkomen. U had een basic kamer geboekt dat is niet in het hotel.

Cute breakfast room. Hotel is walking distance to train. Typical old narrow building with no elevator and we were on the top floor. Dated rooms, updated bathroom. Decent stay.

The smoke alarm was removed from the room, making it a sleep on the razor's edge. It was also two flights of narrow steps, with no lift access. This was not made clear in the listing.

Beware of Room Choice
This is not a four star hotel. The room was really weird with a decommissioned kitchenette and ikea furniture. The 'carpet' was not secured down and had various pieces of the same carpet overlapping creating tripping hazards. The hotel has multiple properties and we were not allowed to stay in the main house where the breakfast is located. I would never stay here again. Additionally, our 'basic room' did not have the amenities promised on Hotels.com. The hotel said that was Hotels.com's fault and did nothing to accommodate us.

As mentioned in other reviews our room was actually in a different property to the hotel. A regular house near the hotel with four rooms over shops on the ground floor. For a 3 star hotel the room was disappointing and extremely basic. It reminded me of a cheapish student house room, which it probably had been until the hotel purchased it and little effort had been made to spruce it up, e.g. peeling walls and a very basic bathroom. The location is really its only selling point, and I believe it was rather overpriced.

Dear guest you had booked a room that is not n the hotel, it is also stated and at check-in we also mention it. If luxury rooms or suites are available, you can also change them on the spot. In itself, a basic room is very simple for the price, if it is only about sleeping.A student room did not have badtube.

Lovely clean room. Would've preferred a view of the canal, but we had a back room. Husband was not too happy about being on the 3rd floor and climbing all those narrow stairs.

Pros: The location is good (near train station), and the view is nice. Cons: The hotel staff is horrible. A lady in the front desk cannot speak English well. They charged me one extra night simply because they miscalculated the number of nights I was gonna stay: They still use a hand calculator to do these kind of jobs! They promised me a correction to the charge in my credit card after two weeks of staying, but it did not happen. I have to ask Expedia (Thanks, Expedia customer service!) to call them since I am in the US and its an expensive international call. They promised to Expedia and ask for me contacting them directly and more evidence from me. Fine. I contacted them and provided evidences but they totally ignored me after I shot multiple emails to them. Then I had to ask Expedia to come in again. After three weeks, the refund was still not issued, but I was trapped in their endless requests (multiple times of requesting the same invoice, my bank account, etc.). The room (including towels) did not seem to be cleaned daily. The layout is kind of strange: The bathroom is outside the room entrance.

Not as advertised
The hotel is comprised of several townhouses, with various rooms for rent on the 1-3rd floors. We had booked a budget room which was advertised to include A/C and was silent on bathrooms. When we checked in we found that our room would have a shared bathroom in the hallway and the hotel’s version of A/C was to provide a fan. The room was large, even for North American standards. The hotel is a bit dated (old carpets and could use a coat of paint) but generally clean. We were able to upgrade to a comfort room which included a bathroom and kitchenette. Our room faced the street and wasn’t quiet. Overall not good value for price in my opinion.

The worst experience ever - be warned, stay away!
Our apartment was in another building from the main hotel, which wouldn’t have been a problem if our apartment was clean, comfortable and looked remotely like the pictures on the website. We were told to find the apartment building on our own, just given keys and a map, so for first time visitors to Holland, we weren’t impressed. The AC didn’t work, which was disappointing given it was very hot weather, there were no towels until we asked and when they were provided, they weren’t of the white fluffy nature seen on the website. Most of all the place was dirty, dingy and dusty and clearly hadn’t seen any form of cleaning for weeks. The fridge was filthy and had mould - see photos. We had requested a double bed, but instead got soft, spongy twin beds. We couldn’t stay there so rebooked somewhere else which was far better. To top it all, when we announced that we were leaving and asked for a refund, however small, we were flatly refused. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if it was the last place on earth. I could say more but I only have limited space. Awful place. Don’t go there.

This is my worst experience of my life related to a hotel booking: when I arrived at the hotel around 9 pm from overseas I was told coldly that there is no room available despite the fact that I was confirmed the room booking a long time ago. If you have no room, you must tell us much in advance as we did not cancel or change our mind to avoid your penalty. This action is very disappointing for such a hotel having a high review overall.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Good location near station and town centre wih all the sights. Great restaurants on your doorstep. Rooms could do with a little freshening up paint wise. Stairs in Dutch houses all very steep so not suitable for people with movement issues.Beds very comfortable and all clean. Breakfast is plentiful and there are many coffee cafes about if you wish to breakfast elsewhere sitting next to a canal. A great experience for us and will return.

Nice hotel in the middle of Delft

Great location, within walking distance to Delft train station. Enjoyed the breakfast. The room is large and pleasant. The experience could have been much better if the service was more personable. After check-in, we were given the direction to our room which is located on another side of the canal. Once we get there, we then realized that we had to haul our luggage to the third floor via narrow steep staircase. We were disappointed that no information was given, and other information such as WiFi was not in the room as we were told. No room service either during our two night stay. Other than that, the room was pleasant, and the breakfast was great. A little personal touch at this hotel would make it great !

I never expected to housed in a separate building
I expected to be housed in the hotel not the house next door, with shared bathroom and noisy street shouting. The carpet was not cleaned, the wooden internal stairway was noisy. I’ve been in delft many times over the years and this was my first stay in this hotel,which I thought was the best in town. How sadly wrong I was

Great Location
The hotel was in a great location. Check-in was very relaxed and casual. After checking in, we walked the block to our apartment; not in the same building as the front desk. Our apartment was great and very spacious. It does need a good deep cleaning and some love on the maintenance. The room had a mildew smell and the walls were a bit dingy and dusty. Those are the only things I can complain about. You can walk out your apartment and there will be a market about 50 meters away, on weekends. There are many food options very close, I suggest Stads-Koffyhuis.

I stayed in one of the rooms on another street. While nice to have a little more space with a sofa and living room type set up the room was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioner seemed insufficient to cool a room of this size even though an employee checked to see it was working correctly and the windows which were screen-less could not be opened because of mosquitoes. The mosquito warning was printed out and left for the guests. As a result the room was stiflingly hot, the bed was soft and uncomfortable and due to the mosquitoes already in the room I was bitten several times. The linens were in poor condition with holes and when I notified the front desk of this they said they would change but didn't. I have sent the manager separately photos to show this. Lastly while I was aware that this hotel did not have a lift it was unfortunate to get a room that had TWO flights of short steep stairs from the bedroom to the bathroom. You might want to check this in advance of booking the hotel.

Hotel is in an amazing location.
Hotel is large and close to many of the best areas. Walk out the door on the weekend and you will find stalls of vendors just off to the side. Only complaint would be the stale smell in the room of mildew and dusty walls. Housekeeping needs to do a good scrubbing once in a while, not just a surface clean. There are so many good restaurants around the hotel. If you stay on a Sunday, utilize your kitchen and stock up on some breakfast goodies. Nothing opens until 1pm.

The room had no A/C and one open window had cracked glass and it was held up with small pice of wood which could not be removed to close or raise the window. Room was hot and the noise keepet us up all night. I found haire on my pillow case and bathroom floor.

Loving Delft
Loved Delft. Charming and great food. Superior place to stay as a base for visiting The Hague and other spots as the train station is so close to town (and brand new as well). The Bridges House was great. We room we sayed in was large, tasteful and with a roomy bathroom.
