"I think the “Luxury home” part of the listing was a bit of a stretch but overall we had a good time during our stay. The frame for the king bed was terrible though, any movement no matter how small was incredibly loud to the point you can’t believe what you’re hearing is even possible. I greatly appreciated a call from the owner to touch base about checking out and what not, and unlike many other spots that expect you to deep clean the house before leaving, this one had no such requirement."

"Hotel was great. Restaurants and Spectrum Center within close walking distance. Only minor gripe was parking. Should have done my research prior on exactly where the parking was. It is located underneath the hotel, but not well marked...meaning it does not say parking for Aloft. The parking structure (public) is used by several hotels on the same block. Cost was $30/night."

"The hotel was right across the street from the NASCAR museum and about a 4 block walk from where the action in the city is....restaurants, shops, museums, theater. Hilton owns multiple properties in Charlotte. Although I did not "experience" the action for my first 2 nights of my 3 day stay, the "drag" racing on the street that separated the hotel from the NASCAR museum on my last night was a bit annoying... I assume it does not happen that often. All in all, it was a great "last" stop on my 7 week journey reacquainting myself with this great country of ours on its 250th birthday."

"I stayed at the Omni for 2 nights, as I was in town for a wedding nearby. The location was great and the light rail was one block away. The front desk staff were very nice and quick in getting me checked in. The room was big and the bed was comfy, however, the water pressure in the shower left things to be desired, as well as not enough lighting in the bathroom and rest of the room. No place to hang your towel in the bathroom or along the shower door. There were a range of other guests, from families with young children to those walking around the hotel intoxicated spilling food and drinks in the elevator. From my experiences and the price I paid, as it was definitely not the cheapest hotel in the area for the weekend, I would say the hotel is right in line with a solid 3-star hotel, not quite 4-stars."
