"We had a fantastic time staying here!! The host Stephen was incredibly helpful with any questions we had and was generous enough to let us stay past our check out time when our car broke down!! The area had plenty to do, would highly recommend going to Clovelly as well as watching the sunset from the cliffs backing onto the house. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we hope to return in the future"

"Lovely, clean and well equipped property which is very close to the beach - less than 5 minute walk to the sandy beach. We had a lovely weeks stay and Sealavie and did not want for anything. Highly recommend."

"Would highly recommend staying at high barns. Had a great week in north Devon. The barn is great to get to nearby coast/ beach and to venture further out. Great to be near a very large Asda! Communication was great throughout, knew where everything was and easy to contact if needed. Great to have air conditioning, private gas bbq along with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Loved the use of the swimmming pool, and having allotted times. Very family and dog friendly! We would love to stay again in the future!"

"We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day."

"We were a party of 11 , three generations , staying for 7 nights. The location was good for access to local beaches etc. The walk to Westward Ho was an acceptable 10-15 minutes on a track through the woods. The facilities were just what we needed Highlights for us were The spacious and well equipped kitchen that made family cooking easy. The games room and cinema which were well utilised by the children"

"Never stayed anywhere that had so much crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, bowls, great towels etc. There wasn't a single thing we needed! The property was perfect, beds very comfy, grounds were great, swimming pool was perfect! Washing machine and dishwasher were an added bonus!! Even our dog was very comfortable and he loved the lake and local beach. Beach was amazing, water very clear and a beach with no litter is very unusual these days (unfortunately). Highly recommended and we would love to come back and explore further."

"Apartmant was great in a very quiet area. Shops,beach,shops,bars and eating places were a 15 mins walk down a steep hill.Have to say not ideal for persons with mobility issues as steep hill walking back up from shop and beach area. It was fine for us."
