"We travel to Bend, OR once or twice per year, and have stayed at the Red Lion several times. After this stay, we have decided that there are many better options, so we probably won't be back. Overall, the hotel looks a bit dingy now. There was a pile of cardboard and other debris between the two buildings, and large gravel pebbles were scattered around the planters, spilling into numerous parking places. The TV in our room would not connect to whatever network the hotel is using. I reported this to the front desk after our first night, and the clerk tried to reset the device in our room, but with no luck. She said that they were having a lot of trouble with the system, and that "Maintenance" would come by to take care of the problem. Nobody came to the room, so the problem was still there when we checked out the following day. I hope that the hotel can find a way to improve the experience for guests."
