  • Inspired by @williamJones I went down to south Florida. I also went down to visit family :D. Granted, I had to capture a few landscapes along the way. I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

place was very clean and bigger on the inside than expected. amazing to go to with friends. note: if your booking and traveling there type in the address in the gps instead of clicking on the map it will take you to a different address.

Essential items and cleanliness

We noticed a lot of items needed to stay were either missing or poorly stalked. We had to purchase toilet paper as there was only a partial roll in each bathroom, same with paper towel.I feel there should be an option for laundry detergent at least as there was none. Floors were vacuumed but extremely grimy leaving the bottom of your feet black if you didn’t wear shoes after showering. No cutting boards, or any storage containers to at least keep a couple things in the fridge. Pans were so badly scratched they were almost rendered useless. The dishwasher was not attached to anything under the cabinet and kept falling over when you opened it. The burners on the stove were bent so the pans had a difficult time staying on the stove. Pest services showed up during our stay and wanted to spay in the apartment while we were there which didn’t seem to work because we had a cockroach. Without blinds on the slider door the sun wakes up the people sleeping in the living room as this was a “sleep 6” apartment. 4 chairs to eat in a “sleep 6” apartment. Also the elevator had an expired inspection sticker from 6 months prior.
