The reviews and descriptions on the website were highly misleading. The place was filthy with spider webs and dust, and it took us two hours to clean it enough to sleep. The furniture was worn-out, and the outside furniture was very dirty and covered in bird droppings and mould. The property manager's solution was to give us an old curtain, claiming it was specially made for couches. Upon arrival, we discovered a campervan and a landscaping truck parked directly in front of the property, with the property manager informing us that the premises were also used by his landscaping business. The Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow, and none of their streaming apps worked. The toilet got backed up on the first night and the septic tank had to be pumped out, surely this needed to be checked/dealt with before guest arrival. We also had to endure strangers staying on the property in their broken-down camper on the first night - we were just informed of this after arrival. To add to the disappointment, noise levels were unbearable due to the neighbouring rental property, playing music until 4 am and behaving in a disturbing manner including standing on top of their vehicles while driving past multiple times. Despite raising our concerns with the owners, their initial apology turned into when we requested some form of discount. We absolutely loved the beautiful setup, with its open kitchen fully equid, both the rooms were large with plenty room. Very clean and Tidy, lots of running space for the kids, Smart tv was a bonus in one of the room. You had the choice of eating inside or outside where the kitchen was. Everything that was said on applying for this place was spot on. We will definitly visit Hoa Shed next time we come to see my son, It was a camping feel which we loved.
