Hotel is nice but definitely overrated, for the price it should have some extras or at least be up to date, it’s nice and clean but old, views are incredible on the good side.

Está cómoda la cabaña y limpia, la recepción está bonita y el restaurante está rico (algo caro), lo que no me gustó es que la tv (señal) se ve fea; la imagen borrosa, el wifi en recepción funciona excelente pero en la habitación no llegaba nada de señal, y los juegos para niños están frente a la recepción si quedan lejos de las cabañas. Fuera de eso me pareció bien el Country Club. Lo único que desearía en la habitación donde me hospedé sería que incluyeran un microondas y un mini bar, ya que la habitación tiene las conexiones y lo necesario para instalarlo. Muchisimas gracias!

Gracias por hospedarse con nosotros! Hay habitaciones que si cuentan con el microondas y mini bar, tipo (estudio) pero ninguna cuenta con utensilios, ya que no se ofrecen como cabañas, es área de hotel.

El unico problema es que yo reserve la habitación para 2 adultos y un niño, y la habitación no contaba con sofá cama para el niño y no me pudieron facilitar nada para que se acostara mi hijo

Overall Pros y Cons: Pros. Nice sized rooms, restaurant service was great and food was delicious. Nice view from main building. Cons- Rooms are very far from main building, is never clear in the description that there is a very steep staircase to go up and down the mountain just to go and have breakfast. Cero activities. Rude front desk staff. Wifi does not work in the rooms at all and TV signal is very bad. So many missed opportunities!

Nos recomendaron este hotel, nos lo vendieron como uno de los mejores hoteles en Tapalpa, sin embargo nos pareció bastante básico para el precio que pagamos por noche (no lo vale), al llegar nos dieron un cuarto “mejor” que tenia un tapanco con la cama king (bastante incomodo subir y bajar) y pedimos que nos dieran lo que habíamos pagado, nos dicen que la habitación que contratamos estaba en mantenimiento y nos acabaron dando un cuarto con dos camas matrimoniales. la atención estuvo mas mala que buena (ni siquiera nos acompañaron a enseñar el cuarto), lo unico rescatable y delicioso fue el desayuno que por supuesto no estaba incluido. en resumen buscaría algo mas en el centro que seguro cuenta con la misma calidad (o mejor) y a un mucho mejor precio SEGURO. No vendan algo como boutique y premium si NO es boutique y premium, es un hotel de campo que yo catalogaría de 2-2.5 estrellas.

Por esto de asignarle una habitacion mas grande, solo que la distribucion es diferente, se le explico al ingresar. Igual hablaremos con la persona encargada de la asignacion. Gracias por su comprension.

This was very disappointing and we felt ripped off. The amenities offered in the pictures such as golf and archery are false and misleading as they pulled the "covid" card as though the so called virus targets golfers playing outside and bow n arrows, over indoor pool tables and the restaurant. Give me a break. The service people were beyond rude and lousy, as we came in the morning at 8 am to grab coffee and enjoy the views. The waiters said rudely "NO" to our request for coffee in the morning. The views are good and the rooms have fireplaces which are a bonus but hard to enjoy the lobby or club house with the blaring loud Mexican music. I also would advise any english speakers to beware because although the name of the resort is english nearly anyone can speak it, and when you drive there using google maps it takes you this back roads way that ends up with a large gate that closes at dark and leaves you stranded. This wasn't a good choice and we regret choosing it over other beautiful Cabanas and hotels in the area.

Great views
The place is amazing. Quite a ways out from the city, up in the hills, with a fantastic view of the lake. Our cabin was clean and modern with a real fireplace. We could sit out on the deck and enjoy the view, even saw the sunrise as the curtains are just a sheer sheet of material! We did not try the restaurant. There are a few dogs on the grounds, most people won't mibd, but I wouldn't want to be out waljing in tve dark and come upon one. Towels are huge, lots of bottled wster in the room. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean Hotel with Good restaurant
This was our first visit to Tapalpa. We booked the Studio room with lake view. The Studio room came with a sitting area (2 sofas, center table), TV, fireplace, dining area, kitchen,Microwave, Coffee Maker, Refrigerator, Bathroom with walk in shower, Free WiFi, Balcony, King size bed on the Mezzanine floor. There are plenty of blankets and pillows. Overall, the property is in really good condition. The surrounding area is mountain terrain with neatly maintained garden. The restaurant has good selection of food and beverages, both patio and indoor sitting area has good lake & mountain views. Our kids enjoyed the play area. We saw there was an open fire place & golf facility, although we didn't get to use them. We had a great time at Tapalpa Country Club and would highly recommend it.
